@GameYakuza @pongley No offence, but it seems like you don't really know what you're talking about. It's like if I were to say "You want your car to go faster? Well why don't we just put in a bigger engine?". There's a more lot to it than just "show-more-stuff-on-the-screen". It's like with bug-fixing at the end of development. When finding a hole in an invisible wall you might fix that, but fixing it can create another hole somwhere else on that level. Games are complex, dude :P

@pongley @atopp399 I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic and was actually making fun of the PS4.

@Jawehawk-DK Yeah but think about it for a second. Car manufactors pay movie makers for using their cars in the movie, while in games it's the other way around. Is that really right?

@unreal101 @wexorian They can just alter a tiiiny thing and that problem is fixed. just look at GTA and how they hadle the cars. Corquette (spelling?) and it looks sort of like Courvete (spelling?) but with minor differences.

@Truth_Hurts_U What about movies? They are using the same weapon or a model of them. And it is actually not that big difference. Writing about them, using them in a book is still using copywritten (maybe the wrong word but you get the point) material. I am not talking about books that just goes "he had a Colt in his left hand", but book that acually talks about the weapon more specifically (like they do in some of Tom Clancy's books, and the Splinter Cell books written by who ever it was....

@Truth_Hurts_U Sure, but at the same time they are correct. An author can write about their character and how (s)he uses a specific weapon and stuff without paying anything for it. I don't know how movie-makers handle it but i wouldn't be surpriced if they didn't need to pay roaylty to Heckler and Koch or Colt. So why should game makers?

@Spartan_418 @tommy85raw Yeah it runs BF3, but it's not the same version as PC got. They cut corners EVERYWHERE! The game doesn't look half as good. You could not run the pc version of BF3 on 360 (you know waht I mean by that) because of difference in textures, hell everything.

You can't just say that "360 can run BF3", becausethere is so much more to it. It's like saying "Wii can play Black ops", but looking at that version and the 360 version there is a HUGE difference.

@demonkingx5 @diabolik_023 Games has sold like shit on the Wii compared to the other 2 consoles. Try and see the entire picture and not just console sales.

@Cruisemissile Oh please! All companies want to make money! That is probably 90 % of their drive. And yes, the majority of the hardcore gamers like intellectual games, but the majority of gamers overall does not fall under the category "hardcore gamer". Non of what she's saying is untrue. Moronic games like CoD and other shooters sell better.

I've played all Splinter Cell games at least 7 times each (besides Conviction. Probably played that game 10-12 times since it's sooo f-ing easy) so this "make it easier"-talk sounds bad imo, but that doesn't change the fact that the majority of gamers actually didn't play through the other splinter Cell games due to the difficulty.

They don't NEED the popularity from the "intellectual gamers" to do what they want to, be a successive game company.
