@RenegadeGR That is not the only reason for doing this. Console games are often more expensive compared to pc-versions, so they want the game to sell well on console. If the games where released at the same time for pc/console more people than now might get the pc version instead. You would be surprised how many people that goes "What, wait 2 months? **** that, I'll get it for my dusty 360.)

GTA games have since GTA 3 been released on consoles first and then on PC later. Why do people think they will not do the same for this game? And don't throw the Red Dead argument, since that weas a sequal to a console exclusive, Red Dead Revolver... No way in santa's ass will then not release this game for pc.

@zequex My thoughts as well. Dude's old, been working for the same company for 23 years. Seems like any person would consider retirement or just change of venue at that point.

@AquinasQuinn It's not like windows 8 is the first bad OS from windows though. And he had been with the company for ages

@santinegrete the aiming is a lot easier on pc imo so that's not a problem. And as for the rest, you don't need to run around killing innocent pedestrians. The story in each game is awesome, specially San Andreas. GTA is all about the cast of characters, and the satire on the American society. GTA 4 is good and Niko is kind of like byronic hero, maybe a little violent for it but there are some similarities.

@SIDEFX1 @Zevvion We all know the "why", that doesn't change the fact that it was not what people hoped for. Looks good for what it is, even though it's not what some people wanted.

@djpetitte Yeah I hate that feeling. I am a teacher student and last week when I was in a school teaching (practice for the real thing) I acttually uttered the phrase "Back when I was in school we used X word instead of Y." Damn I felt old.

@blackace Since it will take place in the same universe I see no problem with using the same name. I mean, it worked for Star Wars Battlefront, Starwars the force uncleashed, republic commando and so on.
