@Greyfeld Playing it safe? I don't know, you should read up on some video game history. Nintendo introduced sandbox 3D with Mario 64, motion controls with Wii Sports, Pet simulator in Nintendogs, touch controls with the DS, the most powerful console of it generation: the N64, a failed 3D Virtual Boy console, a portable game portable in the Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, Dual Screen, 3D DS, 2nd Screen gameplay using the gamecube with gameboy on games like Zelda Windwaker and FF:Chrystal Chronicles...so I don't know if you can call Nintendo 'playing it safe' compared to the 100s of 'men with guns' software that MSoft and Sony has.

@frozenux Please read up and learn the video game industry situation back in 2006. 'Hard core' gamers have abandoned the Gamecube back then so Nintendo has to widen the video game market place with motion controls and not to compete with Sony and Microsoft in the hardware 'arms' race. They planned to tap the 'casual' audience(people who think video games are for needs and geeks) and they were successful at it.

Pffft...they will just spin the facts to convince gamers that having anti-consumer practices is 'beneficial' for the gaming industry as a whole by protecting developers from pirates.

This thing is going to be expensive with all those 'unnecessary' features for a gaming console. I really believe it will be not less than $450.00 in comparison to the Wii Deluxe which is $350.00 this thing has a 500 Gb hard drive, Kinect 2.0 sensor, a blue ray disk and better hardware.

"If Kinect detects someone it does not recognize, it then audibly asks this person to identify themselves. Once this is done, the Kinect saves the information to the console, according to the report."

And then reports it to Microsoft and charge the person logged into the account because the guy doesn't have a license to play the game with 5 players.
