@louixiii: games get delayed all the time. What deadline? They most likely just lose customers/sales this way. I know I won't buy on launch now. If ever.
I like your selections, Jess. I have a bunch of matches on a couple different variant lists:
Games that made me cry (though I won't necessarily say are "depressing"):
Gone Home To the Moon Bastion (saving Zulf) Journey Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons (not just the obvious part, but also at the kept-true mechanics at the end) Walking Dead Season 1 and 2 Valiant Hearts
WD and Valiant Hearts were minor tears. Gone Home and Journey I cried well enough. To the Moon, Bastion, and Brothers I absolutely bawled.
Games I find genuinely depressing (though not all made me cry):
The Last of Us Shadow of the Colossus Walking Dead Season 1 and 2 Valiant Hearts Limbo The Swapper Red Dead Redemption Heavy Rain This War of Mine
Not out of protest or anything, I still am willing to pay those assholes to play their games. But I don't plan to get a PS4 or XB1 any time soon, and if they stop making games for PC, then...
Thank you, Red Hook, for actually RELEASING a game after a relatively short window of early access. Plenty of other devs can learn from you and stop using the early access sham to continuously horde in money w/o ever working on or releasing a game.
