@Tanares: It'll be just the 2nd Far Cry game I've ever bought, the first bought at launch (so I intend). So, as a newbie to the series, I've definitely bought in.

@Gelugon_baat yeah, I'm aware of their litigious history. Some of that other stuff is tolerable, this this specific case is stupid. Even they know there's no real case for it, hence why they had to bully the guy into submission

@Gelugon_baat I almost want to join you in adding them to my blacklist, too. I love Bethesda games, buggy as hell as they are, but this is ridiculous.

Dear Mr. Kojima, please don't turn the SH series in to a game of constant cheap scares. It's not what the series is about and never has been. Please.

How is the combat empowering when you're forced to use certain skills just to unlock aspects of the story? And the balance of recovery and certain enemy attacks isn't balanced? The skill system overall is great, but the force of use, and w/ so many cheap enemies/fights (looking at you multi-Man fights) causing you to just lose skills temporarily, I can only say Bastion is superior, both in gameplay, philosophy/story, and miscellany/tertiary features.
