I've kind of been noticing the lineups lately. PS3 seems to be getting a lot better with a great 2008 lineup. My brother has a 360 and there was a good point with a lot of games but I think they just got lazy - we have SO few new interesting games coming up, I'm talking exclusives. it needs to step up before they loose market share. PS3's got warhawk, socom, mgs4, and more! I'm getting worried :S

I'm not that concerned just voicing my opinion...who feels me on this one?

[QUOTE="ThePimpEdwin"]yeah it works on all games the soft restart i triedDannylala

So, you physically spent a few hours soft resetting every single DS game known to the Earth?

Wow, I admire your determination.

Anyways, I think it works for most games...

WOW that was so not funny or amusing. Nobody likes a smart*** allright

I partially agree with you. I was just thinking the other day about how fun it wasback in the day to rent or buy a game with nopre-conceived idea about it whatsoever. No internet reviews or FAQ's, no magazine reviews, and especially no game guides! It seems like every game today has a huge strategy guide that you need to buy to find everything in the game. If you don't, then you have to go online to get all the info. I admit that it sucks a little joy out of the experience, but I still keep coming back for more. Sumna

the problem with it now, the way i see it - is that better game reviews= more buyers = more online players = better online experience. That's why i look at reviews. basically see what other people are going to play so i can play them online. For example, i thought the game XIII (13) was awesome but no online community made me ditch it eventually

Thanks KazOblivion

That's a nice list. The reason I asked though is because lately ive been thinking about getting a DS, but as a shoter guy i really want to see a few or even one shooter coming up so I know thats a good investment (im pretty broke 140 + a game is a lot for me). The reason I like DS is because of the variety of games - Supermario 64 is awesome :D

[QUOTE="sameo99"]

It's a simple question. At one point the Third Person category was going really well with GRAW2 and Gears of War. What happened here? I mean look into the upcoming FPS's that are online multiplayer, that are coming out in the future, there's a lot! Frontline, COD4, Halo3 recent release, etc.

I myself am a 3rd person shooter guy. I don't like cover systems and looking over stuff that I really can't, but I do like everything else. (my idea is that if there's a cover system everything that you can't see should be blurry and be based on the most recent view on those objects - if that makes any sense)

Comments?

hezbollahector

ummmm kayne and lynch and army of two are all i can think of

unless you consider mass effect to be a TPS

That's what I'm saying it seems really low all of a sudden. By the way, I mean like competiive no co-op or the special instance of robbing a bank (isnt that what kayne alynch is about?)
