for me, most console games are downgrades, so of course the PC is still my gaming platforme of choice.

i wanna use the maximum out of my cash, and only a PC will allow me to do that.

i can upgrade anytime and run better looking gfx on higher rez, however on a console, i am stuck with whatever the publisher throws at me, and the only way for me to get better gfx is to wait for the console manufacturer to come up with a new console in many many years.

also dont forget the indy devs !!! they only have chances of developement on open platforms like the PC !

over all, PC's are a more of a capitalist approach to gaming. and comparing to them, cosoles are a more communist approach.

i think just by adding extra ram and upgrading your video card to a 9800gtx for example, you will have a very decent PC...

however, if you wantto upgrade everything, you need to be more specifuic about your budget, you can build a whole gaming rig from $800 to $5000

so its really up to you.

its interesting to see that actually some players still consider WoW to be the best looking fantasy mmo out there even if its 5 years old and technically cant !

im not criticising or anything, actually i am a fan of the whole warcraft franchise and i really respect Blizzard as a corp better than many others, however im just woundring why some people loose their objectivity, is it because they are attached to WoW that much or is it because they are afraid that the good experience they have with WoW is threatened to end sometimes?

i know that most of us will disagree which is the best mmo out there when it comes to gameplay and mmorpg quality features, but graphics and performance dont lie, please cast your vote, or if you think that another game not in the list is actually better then please state which game.
