[QUOTE="samiup"][QUOTE="osan0"]the only one i can think of is empire total war....feb 9th next year.
besides that...nope, nothing at the high end and cutting edge. multiplat is the future for various reasons.
its a situation that i would be very very worried about if i was Nvidia, intel and AMD (i have ambitions :P). no reason to upgrade..no need to upgrade. they should seriously start looking into making their own games imho...or making games under the PCGA or something.

which means there will be no need to buy and modd a rig anymore... a console is much easier both to buy and to maintain.
and studios will be just limited to whatever two or three mega corps dictate on them as far as hardware...
well, thats a very dark future, i hope you are wrong my friend.
as do i.
it wouldnt be the end of PC gaming though (hardware is not what keeps the PC going...community is)..theres always devs who want to get their feet wet and the PC is the ideal place to make a start. i dont want to start a war in here..so ill just say that consoles have limitations placed on them by their makers. these small devs just dont have the financial clout to really push a high end PC.however they to tend to be a bit more ambitous with their ideas..they have to be.
as for modding....no ti wouldnt be the end of that. modding (hardware modding anyway) is a seperate hobby from PC gaming.
yeah, i think so too, i think most of the great games that will come to PC will be from new independent studios, like the great experience of Crysis, the Witcher and Sins of a Solar Empire...
im not expecting those studios to keep working exclusively for PC, cause they should make some money too now that they have proven themselves, and the best way to do it is by multiplating, i dont blame them... its faire and its their right.
however, i still think that we will get surprisingly good revolutionary titles on PC first, which is totally worth it.
