Holy balls! Where did you find that? From looking at the pic I first thought it was a German helmet from WW2 but it's too deep and the back is too flared which leads me to believe that's the WW1 version the Germans brought in to service in 1916 to replace the Pickelhaube (the helmet with the spike on the top). As for value, I've seen those sell for between US $300-$600, although as the one in the picture looks to be a tad rough it may be worth a bit less, probably between $200 - $400 although that's just a rough estimate Do you actually live in the city or on the North Shore or maybe South Auckland? I personally live on the shore and can't stand the city!MY City:
