OMG!!! soooo annoyed. so it says that I need to go prone which I was doing... the PC settings are such that I may I either hit the prone key and hold it down, or toggle prone on or off with another key. I mapped the toggle button because I find it annoying to have to keep holding the prone key down. when the game was asking me to go prone I was. So I decided to map the non toggle prone key and voila all of a sudden it starts telling me to hit the e key to cut the wire... so yeah, I'd call that a glitch. Testing is a good thing, they shouldn't be afraid of trying test scenarios that aren't perfect. Anyway, I'm fixed now, thanks for everyone's input again.

ok, I looked at the pic above and read everything everyone is saying, I am using the 'interact' key which I've mapped to 'e' but to no effect. I have seen the youtube video showing a guy sneaking up behind me after I do something to the wires... but I can't get that to trigger... yeah, I'd say it's a bug... no idea though why playing this from the start doesn't fix the bug... I don't want to have to reinstall, but I will if I have to, I just don't feel that's going to fix this. Thanks for everyones help, it was appreciated.

sooo... I have run all around the room using the 'e' key which is mapped to interact... it doesn't do *anything*, I've now tried to start the game over twice thinking maybe the save point was corrupted, but it's not helping... damn this is frustrating. Is anyone playing this on the PC that might have some diea what I should be aiming at before I use the interact key? Also it's telling me that I should be 'prone' so I've tried it in different ways and none of them have let me cut any wire. Any additional help would be appreciated.

so that's what I'm saying, I followed the red wire, it led to the IED controller and some DVD players, a couple of stuffed bears on shelves with bombs in them... it tells me to "cut the red wire" but I can't cut it with my knife, what am I supposed to cut it with?

I can't figure it out, I'm at the start of the damn game and am already stuck. It's telling me to cut the red wire, but it doesn't tell me how to do it. I swtiched to the knife and keep attacking the red wire and nothing... I'm fairly frustrated at this point, and hints anyone want to give on how you're supposed to do this?

Thanks for checking this thread out. I'm trying to find out a good game for a 5 year old who'll be 6 in two months. We already have Rub-a-Dub so I'm hoping there is some other game out there for him. Something somewhat simple in terms of reflexes as he doesn't really have gaming skills yet. platform jumpers may not be the best for him as I think they'd just frustrate him. Is there any kind of kids racing game that does not require a great deal of skill, but is still fun?
