I'm playing through it now, I'm loving it. I think 7.5 is a little low, I'm leaning towards 8, although I understand that the multiplayer isn't very good... doesn't matter, I bought it for the single player, I pretty much only play TF2 multiplayer now anyway.

Can anyone tell me how you move the Magnetic vortex super weapon around when you're playing the Russian faction. They say at the begining that you can move it around. There are arrows that show that it could move around, but when I use the super weapon it just sits there and only stays static. There is no instruction in either the tutorial or the manual on how to move it around... Anyone figure this out?

[QUOTE="satori"]I have been going between full on freezes while trying to load after you select new game and BSoD. I'm running Vista 64 and it won't run despite every other game I have running fine including Crysis and Crysis Warhead. I can run it with out glitches under Vista 32, but to be honest, even with everything maxed out it doesn't hold a candle to Crysis in terms of graphics, which is weird as they're using the same engine. I'm guessing they turned off a lot of things in order to make it not be such a nut cruncher like Crysis was on hardware. I've tried to review on their forums and support but can't log in. I'm guessing this thing really shouldn't be launching with so many people having problems with it.wackys

Huh?Crysis and Warhead are built on the CryEngine 2 engine,Far Cry 2 uses the Dunia engine from Ubisoft.

I am mis-informed... that would explain why Far Cry looks no where near as nice.

yes, I have the same issue, it freezes during loading. I'm hoping that it's something as simple as a patch that will fix it, but I can not find a half decent place to even ask about it on Ubisoft. Their support system seems entirely automated.

I can get all my games to run under my Vista 64 partition except for Far Cry 2. I launch the game and then select new game, then the character, and then it crashes when I load it every time. Running under my Vista partition it runs fine... Can anyone else run it under Vista 64? Did you have to do anything different to it? I want to run it under Vista 64 so I can utilize all my ram, and not just the 3 gigs that Vista gives you access to.

So I downloaded Crysis Warhead from Steam and it then asks for a registration code and I never recieved one. I have the confirmation e-mail with the transaction number, but that's not what it's looking for. Has anyone else been asked for a registration code? Can anyone offer any suggestions?

The offer ends today I thought? If not, yesterday? Correct me I am wrong.

Really? why would they do that, it's a great marketing ploy if they just keep it going.
