Did you read the article the head of nintendo said battery charging will be far more frequent than on the original DS no matter if its in 3D mode or not. You can think what you want once you get it and it never goes longer than 5 hours period in any mode you'll see then.

Apparently some of you don't read what the nintendo execs have said 3 hours of battery life when in full 3D mode with power saver onand 5 hours on its lowest setting with the backlight turned down power saver wont help much in this setting according to nintendo. There is no 8 hours of gameplay or 12 to 14 hours of gameplay on the 3DS your just not gonna get that with the power it will take to run the CPU GPU and the 3D screen and even the screen in 2D since it is far higher resolution the the original DS. If you want 8 hour gameplay ability stick to the original DS but dont fool yourselves into thinking you are gonna get the same amount of gameplay time on a device that is more than twice as powerful.

According to the lastest numbers 3DS will last 3 hours on the highest setting for 3D and 5 hours on the lowest. Sorry 3DS fans its a more powerful device with better resolution its not gonna get the same battery life as the original.

Dude Apple is in the Phone and tablet PC market not the gamingand entertainment part. I dont think it would be a good idea for Apple to even try to get into this market. Apple is to proprietary with very little flexibility in the way of their software, why do you think sony is using android cause it is an open ended system, thats cause it canbe altered to the devs liking and still coexist with all the other android products. IMO android is a better all around system than the iphone OS is. Dont bet on apple coming out with anything that comes close to the PSP2. Aside from Apples touch screen and resolution it isn't setting the world on fire anymore.

Other than its technical specs and OLED screen we dont now what else is capable of. We know it will be far more powerful than 3DS as far as CPU and GPU but thats really it. Allow some more info come out on it befor questioning it.

I'd love to see some original games come out for PSP2. Maybe a new Guilty Gear for the PSP2 and anAll New COD PSP2 exclusive would be nice.

I said earlier that 3DS's 3D screen will chew up battery life how could it not. How can anyone think this thing is going to last 8 hours with the 3D on it highest setting. The PSP2 has an OLED screen which saves power which will probably help the PSP2 get 4 to 5 hours of battery life. Fans of the 3DS have to understand their are sacrifices when you are getting a 3D screen. Its gonna take some power to give games that extra depth and detail in the games.

hahaha... thanks for the laugh.

where's that guy with the CS Lewis quote in his sig when you need him

Laugh all you want and rush out to buy yourself a 3DS. Have fun with it I won't waste 250 dollars on a DS with a holographic screen. Ill wait to get more info on the PSP2 and wait to hear what games will be coming out for it. 3DS owners wont be laughing when PSP2 comes out and they find their 3DS gets blown out of the water in every technical spec possible plus capability wise 3DS will be rendered obselete. PSP owners don't need to worry about games they will have games.
