I could really go for either right now. I'm a fan of RPG and Action/Adventure games. At the moment I have a driving game (NFS) and sports game (MLB and Madden) that i'm playing, so I can go with and RPG or action/adventure. I've never played the God Of War series before either..
I asked for a GC to Gamestop because I hate spending $60 of my own money on videogames. I got this gift from my cousin which is why it's only worth $25 and not $60. Anyway, that's not important. I'm willing to lay down $10 of my own, so let's say i'm working with a total $35 here. What are some games I can get that are worth $35 or less? I'm looking more for RPG's, but I can also go for an action/adventure game. Not looking for any sports or racing games, I have my fix with that as of now. Thanks in advance and happy holiday's!
A few of my own questions to begin... Which game will take me longer if I decide to do the side quests AND the main quest? Which game has the better story? Which game has more replay value? Which game has more customization? Those are my main questions. Anything else you can add, maybe your own opinion on why one game is better than the other or whatever, would be greatly appreciated. I'm just having a tough time deciding between the two. I've heard great things about both and have also done some research, but I thought I could get some answers from the GS community. Thanks guys.
Sooo for Christmas I always ask for a videogame or two. This Christmas, I had originally asked for the new Need for Speed game cause' i've always been a fan of the series up until NFS: Shift. After reading more about the game, I found out customization was out and that really hit me. Adding that feature into the games had been a huge plus for me, so when I found this out I was definitely dissapointed.
Then I thought about it and said to myself, "This could be for the better." Why, you may ask? I think it's time I get a game that will last me a looooooong time! So, I guess i'd probably find that game in the RPG genre. I'm looking for any type of RPG that will last me a long time. I want it to be where I can start it, play it for a while, possibly get bored of it, but pick it up after a few weeks of not playing and finding a way to enjoy it again. I hope some of you can understand that?
Anyway, the game can be any type of RPG. It can be an RPG like Final Fantasy ( Loved 7 and 10) or it could be like Oblivion or Dragon Age. I'm doing some research of my own, but I figured i'd come to the boards as well to ask for some opinions and reccomendations from my fellow gamers. So, thanks for reading and hopefully I can get some good responses!
( Story is key for me to, I love playing a game with a great story. If i'm playing a game for a while and it just gets to out of hand and the story doesn't make sense, I lose interest! )
I know that NFS and GT just came out, so which of the racing games that have recently come out are the best in your opinion? I'm looking at purchasing one of them. If you could give me a quick reasoning as to why you favor one game over the other also, that would really help out with my decision also. I'm trying to weigh out the pros and the cons. Thanks!
