@RaveNRolla: I'm not sure which Chris you're refering too. A last name would help, but a google search turned up Shaun's twitter which is up-to-date. He's @smcinnis on Twitter.
Just for fun, I'd like them to just make EVERYONE nude. Both dudes and chicks just everyone in their birthday suits and lock it behind a pay wall, and lock that behind a passcode within the game. It ain't gonna happen, but it'd sure be funny, and fun!
@5olid_5nake: If that's the case then, man, what essentially is a "closed parenthesis" has a LOT of power in some peoples' minds. I'd like to also point out that the person that wrote the complaint is a parent who has a daughter that likes to see the trailer everyday. If you're not a parent (i'm just speaking generally not you specifically) then you won't understand that part, but I do. Small children will watch things they like very much millions and millions and trillions and googolplexes of times a day if you let them. If she doesn't approve of the way they are portraying their characters, and afraid of what impact that might have on the daughter, then the daughter shouldn't have been allowed to watch it. I'm sick of these people that are only biological parents, and don't actually PARENT. My 5-year-old isn't aloud to run amok on internet videos for very obvious reasons.
@5olid_5nake: Yeah I didn't understand that line either....What?? He meant to say Fipps I guess. Back on topic though, I wonder if it had been an issue in the first place had they not had the butt crack outline there?
@burasta: It's perfect for space sims, racing, and first person shooters. This is what I'd like to see with No Man's Sky. Headset for looking around, obviously. For aiming and walking around they should let us use either the regular PS4 controller, or the Move with the navigation controller. I'd gladly shell out 400 bucks for that kind of experience.
I have no capable computer for the PC options in VR so I'm only speaking of PSVR here.
Yes, I've wanted VR ever since I've known about the technology way back as a fledgling gamer in the late 80's. It's about FREAKING time, and I'm cautiously optimistic about the new tech. Having said that, I'm going to wait and see whether or not they're going to develop REAL games for it or a bunch of damned shovelware that nobody asked for. Sometimes when an industry brings out a product with really good potential, they f***ing do not use it to that full potential. I'll just say this, if No Man's Sky isn't going to be a VR capable title (IT IS PERFECT FOR IT!), then a lot of my interest in PSVR this generation is going to go way down.
@blesstha_god: It sounds like fun to me too, which is why I don't understand someone not wanting the option. The only negative I see, if you can call it that, would be the vicious language and name calling from both fanboy camps over the mics. A total non-problem really. Just mute, block, report if needed.
"The move, if enacted, could bring two platforms that have been segregated between for over a decade."
Had to read that twice because it didn't make any sense. Didn't the writer leave out a word? Shouldn't it say,
"The move, if enacted, could bring two platforms TOGETHER that have been segregated between for over a decade."? It's not a big deal, it just confused me a little.
Anyway, is there a reason why there are some people, gamers, that do not want this to happen? I don't see the negative, and I'd like to know why any gamer wouldn't want this.
