@psuedospike I think he injected more soul into it seeing how it was dieing in the first place. Although I liked a few movies I never was a BIG Star Trek fan. I did watch it with a few Trekkies and they loved it as well.

@Vienreich You don't think it is in no way a breath of fresh air for the franchise? I've seen several episodes of Star Trek. They bored the hell out of me. Even the action was boring. There are 3 movies from the late 80's and early 90's that I enjoyed and that was about it. The original creator had a message. He put it across very well, (we are all equal). Now it's time for the franchise to kick some ass. Which it's doing.

@the_hunger It really all comes down to money. They don't want to put the money up for the good writers and the good production team to make the game great.

Explain the themes. I"m not a Star Trek fan. I'm just saying that I care about this franchise now because Abrams made it fun to watch. Wild fans of this franchise (or any for that matter) are impossible to please. Is it because they slightly changed the look of the Klingons? Not enough scientific jargon? I'm not being a smart ass, I'd really like to know what the problem with these movies were because I enjoyed them immensely.

@HyperWarlock Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King was also great. I still play that one from time to time, it's fun.

That awful game didn't hurt the movie. I still loved the movie. People who've been gaming since the 80's realize that almost any game tied with a movie is going to be sub par. It's sad but it's reality and we've learned to avoid them. It also NEEDS TO CHANGE!

No no no I get what you're saying. I would have liked the same exact street layout (in most places). With a LOT more detail. Like for example CJ's House. I'd like to be able to go down the same streets that get me to that culdesac, and see CJ's old house. They have to update the city, I know that, but I'm just hoping for a little familiarity.

This is a leak, and I'll treat it as such, but does it bother anyone that it doesn't really match San Andreas' Los Santos? It would have been cool for them to make the exact same city just with more detail. I wonder if I'll recognize a lot of the city or will it be completely foreign to me? I've played A LOT of San Andreas, I know Los Santos pretty well even now.

@WraistlinGill

I's sick of every one of those ads, wish they'd take them off.
