Well, OK Bungie. If your game is going to be the one to end all others here's what you'll have to do.

For all the mech sim fans out there design a full fledge mech combat sim within this game. There is space exploration right? Space combat sim. Now you can go ahead and have us jump to each destination by warping or jumping to light speed or whatever you wanna call it, but for the space sim fans out there you'll need to design an intricate space combat simulation, complete with planets to land on and asteroids to mine. In other words Star Citizen, within this game. There should be nimble fighter craft and large carriers and destroyers available to the player as long as they have the exp. points/money/resources whatever, to attain them.

Each part should feel like it's own game. The mech piloting and combat should feel like MechWarrior, and the space faring should feel like (like I said) Star Citizen or the X Universe or any of the Star Wars space simulations. Of course the regular on foot combat should be like Battlefield or Halo (pick your poison). It needs to all seamlessly meld together, like one minute I'm playing "Halo" the next minute when I find a mech (are there any in this game? I don't even know, but they need to be!) I'm playing MechWarrior. Maybe Hawken would be a better fit for this, but whatever. There that's basically every genre except for RTS, but Battlefield has touched on that a little bit, and it just needs to be expanded and tweaked. I guess once a player gets to a certain rank he/she gets the option to look upon the battlefield with a top down view a la Command and Conquer and direct troops, human and A.I. alike.

It's unrealistic, it ain't gonna happen, but it needs to.

@Timmy_Gwar

Well, it will at least keep me from wasting TOO much time customizing my character, so I can just get to playing the game.

I don't know if I like how the character creation works. It's different, I'll give them that, but i'd just rather make my own character from scratch. Who knows though, maybe I'm wrong, it might be fun. Just getting the regular vanilla game though. I never really cared for collector's editions, and all of that downloadable stuff I could care less about. I got to get to doing more surveys for e-rewards if I want the game by launch though.

I wonder how it will handle certain channel commands. Like do I say I want to watch HBO or do I have to say "guide" "501" (for the channel HBO is on). I want the thing just to try it out.

So is this saying I can control my television and anything else that uses an infrared remote with the XBOX One? In other words, I can leave the console on and just yell commands at the Kinect telling it to change the channel and turn up the volume on my sound system and whatnot, right? That does sound kind of cool.

"Separately, Yamauchi said during a Gamescom panel this week (attended by Joystiq) that if Gran Turismo 6 does come to the PlayStation 4, it could evolve into Gran Turismo 7".

Huh? Well I wouldn't think it would evolve straight into Gran Turismo 15. What was that sentence for? Anyway, the movie idea kind of sounds boring. Of course, I'm not one to pass judgment before seeing the finished product so only time will tell.

@vikebone I think he just wants the game not to be so story focused while gameplay takes a backseat, and gets developed half heartedly. I can get behind that. I liked Shadow of the Colossus just for that reason. Fun gameplay as well as a good story. I didn't like Ico because the gameplay was kind of boring.

The only problem I had with Dead Island were the shooting mechanics...it was SO boring using guns in that game. Frustrating too. Point blank shotgun blast to the face on a human enemy and they didn't die? I hope the shooty bits in this one are better than Dead Island's. It looks like great fun as far as the melee and free running.

I looove me some simulated space combat! Does anyone here know if it's possible to "follow" the Oculus Rift hardware? You know, like you can follow games on this site and when there's news for it you'll be notified?
