SC Convition will have better graphics. Better story. Better gameplay. AND it will outscore it at Metacritic. MGS4 isn't even a stealth game... Conviction will set the standard
Doubts?

ODST has better graphics, better gameplay, better story, better music, better everything. ODST = 9.8/10 GoW III = 7.8/10.
The 360 has vastly more and better exclusives then anyone else.
Sony's in trouble Reach looks out of this world

As I said in another thread, Why do Lemmings all of a sudden turn casual when discussing the 360's price?
Online? Too complicated, no appeal, don't need it.
Hard Drive? What for? 256megs is more then enough for my gaming needs...
Rechargeable Battery Pack? What for? I'll only play me 360 for a day or so.
Wifi? I Don't need online remember! (Granted some of us including me can use wired, a lot of other's can't, wireless is SO much more convienient.)
These same lemmings own all these addon's yet fight with their dieing breath to prove "they aren't needed". MS is master at giving you false "options".
I will agree by saying that the average gamer is not just going to walk away with a $199 360 but they will still pay less. I picked up an Arcade just to play the few exclusives that interest me on the 360: $199 I picked up a charge and play and also picked up a extra controller with the charge pack: $19.99 + $64.99 I do not need wifi since my modem siting under my big screen and I'm not paying for Live at the moment since I game online with my PS3. $0 I wanted to get warranty so if anything happens I can just replace it in a matter of minutes instead of sending it to MS: $30. So without tax I still paid only $313.98. I know I will get a HDD later but right now it is not needed. So I would agree that some will not just be satisfied with just a $199 360 but for $199 it can play games out of the box and all the add-ons can be bought for it later instead in one store visit. I don't think the arcade is a bad sku cause it dooes give ppl a chance to buy it cheap and slowly upgrade, I just hate how lemmings make it sound like the 360 costs 200$ and nothing more. Using your example 313$ spent so far, imagine if you didn't have a PS3 and wanted to play online? The price would go up beyond the PS3's price and you still wouldn't have Wifi/Blu Ray/Browser/Hard Drive. The 360 is a great console when your able to take advantage of all it offers, I just hate the way MS does business. As I said in another thread, Why do Lemmings all of a sudden turn casual when discussing the 360's price?

It's all good. I honestly would get a PS3 despite having an Xbox 360 if the funds were available but sadly, they're not. My personal take on XBL fees, which I don't like paying and I do think it should be free but anyways...Sony's stance on the PS3 hardware is more value for your money. This is a fact. I think Microsoft takes the same stance with XBL, more value for your money. XBL undeniably has more features than PSN. Whether that is of value to anyone, everyone, gamer, consumer, me, you, etc is purely subjective. I prefer to take a logical and reasoned position on things. :)Lance_KalzasI agree! For some people the experience Live offers alone is enough for them to get a 360, nothing wrong with that. After all I'm sure their are people out their that get ps3's primarily because they have a Blu Ray player in there. If we were all the same we'd all be dressed in yellow :P
[QUOTE="schims"][QUOTE="Lance_Kalzas"]That's not really a double standard. WiFi and Blu-Ray cost extra meaning the PS3 initially costs more than the Xbox 360. Netflix and media center doesn't cost extra.Lance_KalzasWhy do lemmings still tout Netflix? The PS3 has netflix, AND has a browser, Hulu and such? And I love how lemmings all of a sudden become casual when discussing the 360's price... Hard Drive? pffft 256meg will be more then enough for my gaming needs... Online? pffft online is to complicated for me, no appeal, don't need it. Rechargeable battery packs? What for? I'll only play my 360 for a day or so. Wifi? I don't need online remember! (granted some people like me can use wired, wireless is still so much more convinient) 1st of all, I'm not a lemming and I believe all 3 consoles are awesome and have both positives and negatives. Check my post history if you don't believe me. 2nd of all, I didn't "tout" Netflix so not only are you attacking what I said incorrectly, you obviously didn't read the posts prior to mine. All I said was that's not a double standard. This is how: With PS3, you get WiFI out of the box along with Blu-Ray. With the Xbox 360, you don't. Simple fact. The PS3 is more expensive, thus you're paying extra for it. Does that make sense? If not, how about this? If PS3 did not have Blu-Ray and WiFI, don't you think Sony could afford to sell them at a cheaper price? So yeah, you're paying extra for it. Media center? I know it's included at Xbox 360, doesn't cost extra. PS3 has it too, right? Therefore it doesn't cost extra. Netflix? Xbox Live Gold members can use it if they have an account. That does not cost extra IF you already have a netflix membership, which I did. Otherwise, it costs at least $5 per month extra. I honestly didn't know PS3 could stream movies from Netflix's website and I've never heard anyone say it could so how I would know that I have no idea. Afro, I hope that helps. Schims, try reading all of the relevant posts before making a comment. You might sound more informed and intelligent when you do. I'm sorry dude, my post wasn't entirely directed at you, it was just sort of my answer to the replies I've seen in this thread. The netfix part was for you because it isn't an extra feature tha the 360 and a lot of people seem to think it is, and I'm 99% sure the PS3 can be used as a media station to (if that means hooking it up to the pc and streaming songs/movies etc. I know very well the PS3 is more expensive upfront, but it's just plain wrong for gamers in a place called system wars to ignore live fee's, hard drives, rechargeable battery packs and so on. This is a gaming forum, I think it's safe to say the majority of us will need/really friggen want those features. And in that regard the 360 ends up being more expensive and what I consider of worst value. It's still a wonderfull console, I'm just calling this how I see it.
