So Microsoft won 1 out of 8 months so far this year, wow. Good for them. I guess all the times Sony won, just doesn't count anymore now that Microsoft won in July.

@johnnykchop: Yeah. This game in particular could really use multiplayer.

@TitanExtremer: If you look at it like that, yeah I agree. Now that I think about it, NMS does lack pretty much all of what those games have...it looks like it could be fun exploring, solo, for a while...but for many people it could get boring/repetitive and lonely, fast. It really could benefit from multiplayer, I can see that now.

@TitanExtremer: Exploration is no fun unless you can share it with someone? Really? Elder Scrolls games are fun (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim), Fallout, Witcher 3, Zelda games...Final Fantasy games (not the mmo's), Red Dead Redemption... The list could grow quite long. Single player games are the most fun for me, without multiplayer.

@TJDMHEM: I'm going to get the one for NX too. Aaaaaaaaaand, the one for PS4 also.

@justerthought: Although, 4K tvs are getting cheaper and cheaper, and there are always people buying a new tv. I think most people buying a new tv this year or beyond, are going to buy into 4K.

I have 3 4K tvs all with HDR. I have friends who do also. 1080p is the current standard today, sure. That will change within the next 24 months, not 60+months. Also although there aren't many of us gaming on the new 1080 cards, but I am and it can do 4K at 60fps, with no problems.

I agree with you on one point though: 4K is indeed over rated. What is really the game changer is High Dynamic Range. It makes a huge, huge difference in movies and will make games looks way better also. But, you need 4K tv in order to get HDR.

So, in closing, what am I really saying? 4K is here, it's growing and it will replace 1080p as the current standard in acceptable resolutions for media viewing as well as gaming. Does that mean I'm saying Neo won't be any good just because it won't do native 4k gaming? No. I will buy a Neo as well as Scorpio when they launch.

@retrogamer77: I tried upscaling a Wii game (Xenoblade Chronicles-digital download) but the only way it works on my tv is to leave the Wii U resolution output at 480p.

Otherwise if I try 720p or 1080p, the screen goes all greenish and just looks super horrible.

How, exactly, can one get Wii games to upscale properly to 720p-if you don't mind me asking? My tv is 4k, so not sure if that matters...

@tronwins: They are only master race IF they own consoles too, for the exclusives. Otherwise they miss out on fantastic games just because they enjoy being a snob...the real master race owns a good gaming PC and all the consoles. Plus it's more impressive because they have more money to burn; it takes a lot more money to own everything. PC only players are peasants IMO. Just like console only players are, again IMO.

I don't doubt that there are some weird guys out there who claim to be girls, but still I don't understand why by default all people on the net should be considered male, unless otherwise proven.
