im a knight, and for some reason when i equip fluted boots and a halberd at the same time i cant run, and when i try to roll he can't roll. It's like his foot is heavy or something. But if i switch my fluted boots let's say to a wizard's boots the problem goes away. This didn't happen before as i've equipped a halberd before when i first got it, but now that I equip halberd + fluted boots, my character can't run and can't roll. What does this indicate?
Anyone else start as a priest? And tips on beating the phalanx? Everytime I get his health low he uses a heal.... I have about 15k souls every time I die its a stressful trip to go retrieve them....

you can use the fire bomb item, it's weak against fire.

how many hours on an average does this game clock at? Im around 20+ hours in the game and im only at soul level 28 and defeated 4 bosses. (spider, phalanx, tower knight, doll boss) and im currently fighting the first boss on the defiled world. The one with worms.
Voice chat is no big deal since we talk via the internet while we play. What im saying is that will it be easy for us to connect to our worlds (or w/e you call it) and we can play it cooperatively?
k/d ration shouldn't be a basis for skill. In other modes like capture the treasure or zone control (w/e you call it) where in people would go out of their way just to get the objective done, they sacrifice their k/d ratio for the point and that doesn't reflect in the stats. And there are those douchebags who just care about their k/d ratio and just kill and kill not caring about the objective of the game mode.
