[QUOTE="scratch-o-hey"][QUOTE="Verge_6"]that's flawed logic. Nice elaboration you got thar. i assumed i didnt need to since it was common sense. but oh well here goes: you can't say mw2 couldnt be goty because it's predecessor didn't get a similar award. killzone 1 was bad, killzone 2 was good. dmc 1 was good, dmc 2 was bad, etc.As pointed out, if MW1 didn't even win SOTY, what change does MW2 have of GAME of the year?

[QUOTE="scratch-o-hey"][QUOTE="MorbidToaster"] Most TVs don't have DVI input, and have bad response times. For gamers, response time is everything, dragging that number down from 10ms to 2ms is a big deal.
Another thing to note is that TVs usually have lower resolutions than monitors, no matter what size.
Oh, and never buy a Dell/HP monitor.

Really? What's wrong with Dell and HP monitors? What brand of monitors would you suggest then?
Samsung monitors are my favorite, and the higher end monitors usually come with a built in TV tuner as well, so you get both with the greatness of a monitor too. Dell and HP monitors just tend ot be mediocre for the prices they ask, although I've heard good things about the new Alienware monitor. samsung, note taken. Thanks! Also, thanks to everyone who posted here, now I understand the difference. So now I'm just deciding what brand to get since Dell and HP aren't good.[QUOTE="scratch-o-hey"]Really? actually depends. Dell contracts them out to actually sony sometimes so the higher quality monitors are exactly that higher quality more so than pretty much anything else.
hp idk about
