@gamersince78: lol me neither! The two games that annoyed me most on pc because they ran like sh** is ac unity and watch dogs 1. I remeber losing my faith in pc gaming with those two. My thinking is if Microsoft is pushing to "unify" windows and Xbox then it stands to reason that they will put a bit more effort into avoiding bad pc ports by allowing for better compatibility between Xbox development and pc. But of course this is up to the developer in the end. Man I wish that there would be no more bad ports!
@Shantmaster_K: I know it was unnecessary. Sorry, I admit I was teasing a bit. I wanted to point out that the technical specs of the new consoles used as marketing selling points look silly when you compare them to pc. Personally I'm looking forward to the Xbox one x and can't wait to see it in action honestly. I also really liked what Microsoft did with the Xbox 360 in the previous generation. I hope more great games are also released on pc now that Microsoft is making windows compatible with Xbox etc. And to be honest I've been thinking about getting an Xbox one x as well but I want to see games running on it after it's released.
@Shantmaster_K: it was more expansive than that but I can play all games that ever came out on pc since the dawn of time and I can program, work, surf the internet and run whatever other pc program I wish. Even viruses if I want to. My pc was more expansive but it can do so much more, faster. Also I can do all those things simultaneously and more: chat on Skype while playing a game while listening to music while watching a movie on my second or third or forth monitor while surfing the internet on another monitor while my music player and kindle are charging. So... good investment right?
Sarcastically: Starts production soon and will be released next year. Only 3 episodes will be aired and then we wait another two years. Might see the end of the series when I'm 90 yrs old. Honestly fed up with the short seasons that has become trendy for TV series. Although I like this show. Yes quality over quantity but honestly it's about balance. You cannot sacrifice quantity completely in the name of quality. Otherwise just release 1 episode and call it a movie.
Already did those tests last year on my pc which is more powerful than xbonex by the way and still the system struggled to achieve 4K 60 even 30 sometimes even at graphics settings turned lower. So I knew this is what would happen. I said it in the comments on this site before and fan boys flamed me for it. Now they know. Anyway my opinion is if you don't already have a pc more powerful than Xbonex then buy an Xbonex because it will give you better quality for the price you pay. And stop paying attention to graphics so much. For me gameplay is what matters. If graphics matter to you because you want to justify paying for Xbonex then don't worry the quality you are getting in my opinion more than justifies the price. If I didn't have a more powerful machine right now I would buy the Xbonex and enjoy the heck out of it and play games I like.
@Vul0: totally agree. I'm 32 and been gaming since I was 10. Been gaming on pc since 2009 and i think the same. There was a point, which was a few years after I had switched to pc when I was focused on graphics but for the past two years now I graphics are very secondary to me. What matters to me most is whether I enjoy the game or not. I used to upgrade my pc every years but for the past three years I have not because graphics and to a point performance are not that important to me. I pay more attention to the game what it is representing like immersive worlds or story or gameplay. I got bored of graphics I guess. Yeah it looks nice but what can your character actually do. What does the world, the game feel like? How does it make me feel? I guess that's my focus now.
@midna: probably not the last time. Next time they will just record the gameplay on the most powerful and costly pc they can build then leave out the blank spaces for any console to put their button icons. Heck, even the switch could then release a video. You would even see mobile versions. It's ridiculous how marketing gets sometimes.
