AND PS4 has the superior version of all multi-plats to boot.....In literally EVERY Criteria that can be measured or proven the PS4 beats the xbone like a red headed step child. There really is NO reason to get an xbone over a PS4. Theres already been many legit reasons/facts given why by you and many others. Ive heard many others call Last of Us their greatest game of all time too, and I could not agree more with them.
I have been a gamer for well over 20 years and The Last of Us is the greatest game I have ever played. There is nothing that comes close
Last of Us has the most brutal, dynamic, intense combat gameplay I have ever played. Its deep, offers many options, and is challenging. I felt like a survivor fighting to live another day after each dynamic brutal combat encounter.
I also loved all the moments of downtime exploration. Allowed me to let everything soak in. I loved immersing myself in the environments and engaging in the environmental story telling. Collecting notebooks and letters and logs wich told their own stories too. I loved engaging in the in game dialogue with Ellie. The character development that was occuring there in game was just wow. I also loved scavenging for items. The item resource managment and real time crafting systems tied perfectly into the combat and that was also brilliantly done
What I really liked about the downtime too, was that it also provided a calmness, an almost sense of relief from the intense and thought provoking deep gameplay of the brutal combat encounters
At the same time that downtime would also intensify the next combat section even more lol....it was like the calm before the storm... and then bam that combat encounter would come like a furious storm and hit you to the gut even harder..
This ties into the next point perfectly....The PACING in the Last of Us was PERFECT....And just when you think the formula could be getting a little stale, Naughty Dog switches it up and changes up the formula dramatically in the next half. Last of Us is also the greatest paced game ever.....
Literally every aspect of the gameplay was awesome. There is NOT one thing Naughty Dog didnt do great with the Last of Us....and just the way everything fit like a piece of a puzzle....Amazing. The combat was sublime....and the game as a whole played and taken at its whole, it was revolutionary gameplay.....in conjuction with story....where everything made sense and flowed...Naughty Gods indeed!
You see the Last of Us also has the best story in gaming I have ever witnessed. best characters and character developement too. (Character development that also occured in gameplay by the way. Yep those Naughty Gods)
But damn....the way both the sublime gameplay and sublime story in Last of Us came together in such perfect harmony.....I mean....what else can you say.....Last of Us is a god tier game that cant be touched....and Naughty Dog is in a league of their own...
Naughty Dog with the Last of Us moved gaming forward and raised the bar in gameplay, story, and in being able to intertwine both together as one so flawlessly. Im sure Last of Us will go on to start another movement and "inspire" a bunch of copy cats like Uncharted did.
By the way, there isnt a developer more copied then Naughty Dog is, and thats all the more proof how truly amazing Naughty Dog is. Naughty Dog sets the trends and standards, others follow.
But when people in the future look back on Last of Us, they will remember it as the game that took gaming to new heights and started it all. Last of Us WILL go down as one of the greatest games of all time without question
What is bananas too, is that Naughty Dog the developers of Last of Us also were responsible for creating a movement at the begining of this gen with Uncharted
Naughty Dog is the greatest developer of our time and its not even in question. No other developer has been more consistent, versatile, and influential. No other developer has done in one gen what Naughty Dog just did in this past gen with Uncharted 2 and Last of Us (two all time classics that reinvented their respective genres, were dramatically different to each other, both released in one gen)
As far as im concerned, any one who doesnt like or appreciate Naugty Dog is someone who simply doesnt like or enjoy video games. Naughty Dog represents everything that is beautiful about gaming. If you cant appreciate Naughty Dog, you dont like games and you are dead to me !

-When you look at the specs of both on paper, and compare, it all matches up...the FACTUAL outcome is....PS4 is up to more then 50% more powerful....
Any one who knows specs can see whats going on:
-PS4 can do much more tflops
-Has much better faster memory thats more unified, and more of it is allocated to GAMING
-The GPU is a 50% more powerful GPU
-PS4 has hUMA capability
-PS4 has a 33% faster CPU
Etc etc etc etc etc
At this point, you are an xbot refusing to accept the reality that the PS4 is SIGNIFICANTLY more powerful.
You xbots NEED to come to terms with reality sooner or later.

1080p on PS4 vs 720p on xbone is a SIGNIFICANT increase in pixel detail.
For an advantage like that to come into to play right out of the gate, that PROVES the PS4 is signifcantly more powerful. You can just up the detail on PS4 games with no extra work.
And if developers want to do 1080p on xbone games then they will have to make sacrficies in the assests, where as the PS4 will still be able to render it all at no costs.
The ONLY way there is parity in multi-platform games is if its a botched port or a money hatted port.. and in that case, that would expose Microsoft....furthermore, the PS4 is significantly out selling the xbone so developers this time WILL NOT be forced into putting up with Microsoft's bullshit and whacky demands
Even when you look past launch at launch window games, Infamous is absolutely CRUSHING every known xbone game in existence....
Playstation exclusives are ALREADY showing off the PS4's VAST significant power advantages ...and that gap will only continue to grow and widen down the line

Killzone was a great experience. And im still enjoying the MP. I feel Killzone Shadowfall is very under rated.
I also enjoyed Knack quite a bit. Was fun and a breath of fresh air

I have been very happy about the PS4s launch and there is NOTHING on the xbone that makes me think twice or regret my decision. PS4 launch all the way.
But remember that Sony still has more games to announce too, its strategic. Even if you dont like the launch line up, just know that games from the likes of the Naughty Gods (best developer in gaming) and Santa Monica and Media Molucule etc are coming!
Hell, this year Infamous and possibly The Order are comimg to the PS4...and those games look MIND BLOWING....easily the two best next gen games we know of yet....SO you wont have to wait long....might as well get PS4 now....

When Infamous drops the exclusives will keep on coming and keep on getting better. The PS4 wont look back and will dominate until the end of the gen in exclusives, just like how the PS3 started kicking ass exclusive wise in 2008/2009 and never looked back since, but this time the PS4 is starting the ass kicking much earlier.
When you buy a PS4 you know Sony will support it until the end, given history, as opposed to how Microsoft always drops support for their consoles half way into the gen in shady fashion.

When a new gen comes, you have to think price power features and more importantly think long term. PS4 has the price power and features adavantages by far, and when you buy a PS4, its the best long term purchase you can make in gaming, given Sony's history of long term support and the pedigree of Playstation exclusive developers.
