Yeah, same thing happend to me just last night. I think the laser has died. Sony is gonna have to replace it.

Well, since it seems you don't know much about them your best bet would be to go with a USB stick. Especially if you're backing up data that's higher than it's size. A USB stick would be more universal and easier for you.

But if you must, a SanDisk card would be easier for you. (SD Card) It says right on the package. That's the cheapest one. But since different models have different slots it seems, go with a USB stick to be on the safe side if you don't really know. Get a 2 gig stick or something cheap. That way, you could just plug it into your PC without worry.

For some reason, my ps3 doesnt read disc anymore. Theres the little thing upper right corner acting like its still reading the disc, but nothing wont show up. I think the laser died or something?

And if I send it back to Sony to replacee the laser(which i think its the problem), should i take out my HDD first? So that they dont erase my game files.

The 360 will take it with what? The titles on the PS3 extremely outweigh the 360 titles. If the 360 sales more it wont be because it had beetter games in 2009. It would have to be because it was cheaper.

The 360 has the higher quality games line-up.Don't deny it.

And cows think that because MS doesn't anounce games 5 years in advance like Sony does,they don't have anything on the horizon.

MS are smart,they'll let Sony show its hand,then strike.They have some great stuff up their sleeve.No doubt about it.
