I never had any issues with this game. I bought it the day it came out on PC. Played it at nearly maxed. Looked fantastic and the game was awesome. Beat it and then played about 30 minutes of multiplayer. I figured out you could use console cheats in multiplayer... No one else realized and no one could kill me. Hopefully that's fixed now if you play multiplayer :)

I only played parts of SoC and the second part.... didn't play the third. I like the second part a bit more but I haven't played enough of both to make a full review of it. ONE thing you MUST install though is the COMPLETE MOD PACKAGES for any of them you play. So the game is bad if you don't use mods? Lol...

I don't understand why you think the game is just going to die. There are people out there who don't like WoW you know. I am sure many people still play those other MMO's that were labelled 'WoW Killers.' 1 million or 200,000. That's still a lot of players and something to be proud of. The game has a fee and the game has sold. The company has succeeded. The people that find Rift boring are the people who have came over from WoW. What do you expect? They games are nearly identical and Rift is smart to copy. Any new MMO needs to take all the good elements from WoW (achievements, dungeon system, large open world, etc) to even compete. Then they something eyeopening or game changing to really propel the game forward. Rift has some random events - Rifts - that's it really. WoW on the other hand has a very deep lore traced back 3 games. Story wise WoW can keep going and building that way. Rift just came out of nowhere. If your quitting WoW because your bored of it why would you go to another MMO? My WoW account expires in May. First time I have canceled since release date. The game is boring because for me there was nothing eyeopening like I mentioned above. It's just an expansion with a boring story, a terrible secondary profession, more linear quests, and average raids. I recommend canceling both Rift and WoW. Either look for a different type of game or even stop gaming for a while then come back.
BF2 was a fantastic game. As long as helicopters and planes are coming back in Battlefield 3 I will play. CoD is overrated and boring. Medal of Honor and Bad company were no better. Counter-Strike is still the best FPS.
My original character was just going to be a good guy, but I did a lot of sarcastic comments or responses like "**** you *****" I stopped doing that when I figured out about companions though. I got Star Paladin Cross who I thought wouldn't join me because of my karma. There was another character, Fawkes, who my friend said would join me. However I rescued him and all he said is we may meet again someday.
I believe I have 1 more mission left until I beat the game. Might go a pure evil character next roll through and see how it goes. I did do some slave quest which dropped by karma 4 times.
