your suggestions there, are actual features in the game.

You can see your friends city's, in the same region, being built. not in real time i don't think since the game sync's with the servers every 3 min, but it's good enough.

And there is things called 'shared projects' you can undertake in your region, where city's in the region can send off resources to help build.

meh, still buying the game, since it looks to be the best SimCity game to date.

It's not like i don't understand their fear for what the game may become, but there's no indication of a dumbed down sequel as far as i can see.

I would rather people wait and see how the game is turning out, before jumping to wild conclusions.

Although, I think the way of telling the story is pure preference.

I prefer a more structured story, with a lot of lore that can be picked up optionally through in-game items, and npc conversations.

As a rule, movie licensed games are terrible.

i see no reason for this game to buck the trend.

all they have said, is that they basically want a more thorough tutorial, and a more straight forward story, and people are flipping out over it.

hmm, this seems like a long-standing issue with this guy, which he is now trying to resolve, by using a completely unrelated matter as an accuse to further his agenda.
