anyone else a bit suspicious of the stealth mechanics?

at 1:30, a guy gets stabbed to death, while another NPC stares right at them, and an encounter doesn't break out.

Seems a bit....crap.

haha, i like how @11:11 the helicopter looks around, in some weird 'uh ohh!' moment.

but yeah, the game looks quite fun, squad based shooters, where you can actually control the squad, can be interesting.

you know what's depressing though?

if this loser quits/gets fired/the company fails because of him. Chances are he'll walk away a rich man, with a hefty pension package, while hundreds of people are left without jobs.

This seems very reasonable.

Giving people a proper introduction/tutorial is vital to a game, especially something like dark souls.

Also making Covenants more understandable, i'm all for it. You should never have to leave a game to understand it (I.E. going to a wiki page to find out what covenants give you), and the covenant system was, well, it wasn't explained, at all.

@cirugo i can't say what the true reason is. but for a semi-educated guess: i'd say it would be so people can't tamper with their save files on their desktops, give themselves a lot of resources, then continue to flood the online market with their ill-gotten gains.

That, and the usual story of 'fighting piracy'.

you can completely ignore everything about multiplayer in this game, and just be alone in your region, with no outside influences at all.
