I got my WCG200 and its the bomb. Its a cable modem/router/firewall/switch/wap/does it all in one little box running 25 watts. Not bad eh? At first I was thinking of running a webserver on it too, but its probably too weak to do that, so I'll do that on a 2nd box.

But really, this networking device has replaced many of my multiple boxes used in the past that does the same thing.

The only thing i can find is a amd 64bit IWILL running at 180 watts. do u know of a low powered amd 64 system?

Comcast upgrade to 768kb upstream. Does it help the Halo Server? I hope so. Some people still complain about lag. How do Halo hosts provide good upstream for their visitors? any ideas? I thought comcast 768kb upstream was the holy grail.

NOOBZ NO BETRAY was a halo server i was running a 2 months ago. Unfortunately, that did not stop people from betraying.

Betraying really messes up CTF games because the other team just stands around watching the betrayal take place. it makes things boring and irritating.

So I renamed the server to:

BETRAY=SHUTDOWN

I couldn't include the NOOBZ name in there so lots of pros got in on the game.. darn.. so it was mixed between pros and noobz. EVerytime someone starts to betray me, (the host) I would shutdown and restart the game. Then the betrayer would join in and start cussing at me for restarting the game.

Strange.

Started up a halo pc server as usual.. the NOOBZ SHEES OK channel.

Unfortunately, pros join in. My coworkers refer to pros who go to NOOBZ channels as SAND BAGGERS. There are some pros out there who just anniahlate all the NOOBZ.

So the NOOBZ go on banshees only to get shot down in the air.

stayed up until 2 am halo'n it.. i'm so tired now.. man am i paying for it.

had a good game last night... met with some good team players... but some could use some driving lessons..
