itagaki (spelling?)  has already said in interviews that ng2 is in the "planning stages" and that was a while ago... he's also said that he will only develop on the 360.  sorry, i don't have links, but you could probably find it on these boards somewhere, that's where i saw the videos from.

wow, this guy got 10,000 points in 5 months!?!?!  he must have never left his bedroom!!!!  hell, taht's 2000 points a month!  that's like beating a game EVERY TWO WEEKS!  damn, what a loser, he must not even remember what the sun looks like!!!!!

i'll never understand how people that comment on video game site message boards can come on here and call each other nerds for doing the exact same thing as they are... seen as we all seem to have a high level of interest in video games, all of these people need to stop acting like it's 1990 and video games are for nerds with no friends, and that they are way cooler because they play video games a lot, and research them, but don't play them AS MUCH as another person.

yeah, microsoft doesn't own hd-dvd or anything... if hd-dvd loses miserably, microsoft could come out with blu-ray players for the 360.  microsoft wants hd-dvd to win, i'm sure, because will likely mean the 360 will beat out the ps3 for top console this generation. 

that is odd that the downtime is the same day as the shivering isles is released, but hopefully everyone can get it quickly after the downtime.

seen as the lag problem is just due to the time it takes information to travel from your xbox to the host and back, bullet lag is a tough thing to fix, so they probably can't ever fix the bullet lag problem, unless they installed their own servers to host the games on, which is no where near economically feasible at this point.  even then, if someone has a slow connection, there will still be some lag.  your best bet is still to just hope you have a host with a good connection, who isn't playing on another continent.
