I had no trouble dumping my Ipod Mini onto my PS3 harddrive. just select "display all" and then copy, the PS3 will do the rest :)

If a game sends a 1080p signal, that means that it does indeed support it, all games automatically set themself up accordingly to what resulotion you have chosen for your system aswell as what the game itself supports.

I ran it in both 1080p and 720p and it made no difference what so ever as far as framerate goes...

Umm... The 40 GIGs handle SOFTWARE Emulation, unlike the 60 GB. In the 60 GB, there is a hardware that deals with the BC. The only main difference is that the 40 GIG will still handle BC, just not like the 60 GB. Any game that does not work will be fixed by Sony through Firmware Updates.Author_1990

This is not entierly true, the european 60GB does only have software emu, where the american/jp 60GB version uses hardware. So it's not really anything weird that the 40GB version doesn't have software/hardware at all.

Yeah as I said, I'm remorseless, and I believe that many others with you, either don't notice or do notice but don't care too much about it. But yeah, I'm bummed if the frame rate is not rock solid. I guess I'm just picky when it comes to that :)

*Yawn* was my impression, I'm sure that it's a blast for fans of the series but I never really thought The Simpsons were fun, I'm more into "in your face" kind of humor, like Family Guy...

The gameplay seems interesting though, with the character switches and stuff...it's pretty neat andI'm sure it can be fun in co-op.

But I'm also remorseless when it comes to frame rate issues, and this game was far from impressing when it came to that. As soon as you started blowing things up, bashing the krusty's or just boosting with the homer blob, it sacked down hard...and I hate that more than anything else.

But as I said, as a simpsons fan, you are surley in for a fun time.
