I love it actually, wish you could use a keyboard though.  I use it mostly to read guides when I'm playing my ps3 lol.  Since you can't exit the ps3 to use the internet lol, and vice versa, i use the ps3 to check guides for wii games.

There was very little difference between the ps2 and the xbox, while 20-60(or more if ps3's have custome hds) compared to 0-120gb in hard drive space and 9gb to 50gb in game disc space, that is more then a slight difference.

The difference between this mulitplatform, and ones before is that they had plenty of disk space, and no need for hard drives.  This gen, one uses next gen tech, and the other uses last gen disk drives and no offical hard drive space.

It can definitly be ran on a pc that's for sure.  As a Halo hater, I'm disappointed in the series in terms of graphics, I think a series loved by many deserves better.  I don't care what game it is, if it has a large fan base, I think they should get top quality everything.

Also, I will lose all respect for Microsoft if they launch a console next year, could you imagine having to buy a more and more expensive console every 3 years to get all the new games with slightly better graphics.  It's 5 years and they never made an improvement, what will be accomplished in 3 years.

HD DVD is losing, what is it 4 Blue rays to 1 HD, plus microsoft is supporting the winning format, if HD DVD flops, microsoft is more then willing to let Blue ray into it's systems and 360's.

I have a 7600GT for my computer with dual core 3.0Ghz processors, and 1GB ddr2 ram.  I can run Battlefield 2142 on high, sims 2 on high, world of warcraft on high, oblivion on medium but I upped all setting but shadows and runs fine, so I'd say it's pretty good, but I'd get something more powerful for the future though.

By the way no SLI, just one

I stuck with the ps1, dare I say it? for Crash Bandicoot, I loved him as a kid. I stuck with the ps2 for Grand Theft Auto (what a major change, and I started playing this at 11, and no I'm not **** up like the media says kids would be) and also Final Fantasy (my friend got me hooked on this). The ps3 I bought cause I still look forward to this, since my dad offered to pay 200 bucks off, and then decided to get Resistance cause it looked cool. Now I'm a big Resistance fan.

Why didn't I got to the 360, well I felt that there was no good games for it, and my friend(I wouldn't call him a friend, he uses me long story) tried to get me to buy an xbox for halo 1 and 2. They offered to let me mulitplay it with them, they were pros, this was my first time. You don't kick somone's ass to convince them to buy it. I didn't think buying one game I didn't like was worth spending whatever a xbox costs. I didn't have a job at the time so I'd get the xbox for christmas and wouldn't be able to buy many games, not that it would be a problem cause Halo is only one game, Halo 2 is another.

Remember a business' job is to make money, and get the most customers.  Most of these customers like the 360, I'm sure a gamespot in Japan would be bias towards the Wii>PS3>360.

Sony doesn't depend on one franchise to survive, it's kinda risky almost like depending on one computer in a business office.  I'll give credit now that it has Gears to depend on now, but I heard the 3rd Halo is the last.  This I think is a smart move, just incase the franchise could degrade later on.  Sony has a little more exclusives to depend on.  Like FF XIII, MGS4, Lair, etc etc you heard it all before.
