In my opinion, this video just shows how disgusting the gaming community is, and why GameSpot should really stop publishing articles on this website that are about politics. Seriously, people just try their hardest to mask their stupidity on those articles.
@ArchoNils2 I'm not sure they would know how to make it right honestly. Many people have the impression that it would appeal to more mature audiences and not teens and younger. So, more realistic than cartoony in graphics.
If they were to do that, I'm positive they would want to outsource it.
Personally, I love my Wii U. But they do need to appeal to the core gamers of their own fanbase. A lot of Nintendo fans are dying for games that they are just NOT making.
For example: A Metroid Prime FPS game with multiplayer. But no, Retro Games Studios wanted to make a Donkey Kong Country Returns sequel because "they weren't done with the series" and wanted to try out new things...but so far, they're mainly showcasing different camera angles in their trailers...yay?...Everyone wanted a Metroid Prime installment, or a Starfox remake or sequel. Many were left disappointed...
A Starfox game or remake with in-depth and interesting dogfights, with possible multiplayer thrown in. A great mind-blowing Legend of Zelda title would be great, with the feel and vastness of Monolith's "X" game.
A mainstream Pokemon title for the Wii U would also bring in a LOT of sales from various demographics. But GameFreak already confirmed that a Wii U Pokemon title is not something they want to do at all...
Games like this, people are dying for Nintendo to make, but they just don't want to make it for whatever reason...if they don't come up with something to fix their issues--or if they don't give their fans what they want--then they would have done it to themselves. Until then, I'm hoping for the best for Nintendo. They're great people and developers.
These exclusive titles are really not giving me a good reason to get a PS4 or an Xbox One. Seriously going to consider waiting for the Steam Machine in 2014.
@RedWave247 This is why I prefer the 5-star rating system. It's simpler and less complicated. How do you explain to someone the difference between an 8.5 and an 8 compared to explaining to that same person the difference between a 4.5 and a 4? It becomes too complicated and nit-picky because the score's range of 1 to 10 is so wide.
5-star rating system ftw. At least it's not flawed. ANd just multiply it by 2 to get your satisfaction of a 1 to 10 rating system :P
