You have a lot of RAM but it seems kinda slow. I know very little about computers so yeah. haha.

Out of the AGP cards, I heard people said that the HD 3850 is the best. The only thing that was hold me back was the 8 pin power plug, and you pointed out to me that there are converters. I appreciate it. Thanks.

the card you get should come with a four pin power converter to a pci express power plug, I'm not sure all of them do but if you check the pics of the card on new egg it should have one of the accessories that come in the box, i think it takes two 4 pin molex power plugs to power a 6+2 pci express power plug, here look at this pic

i recently upgraded 3.2 gigs of 667mhz ram to 4 gigs of 800mhz

If you have mixed MHz you should be fine. But maybe your mobo doesnt support 800MHz RAM.
