@emptycow718: Unfortunately I agree with you. This gen should be chucked away and both companies start from scratch. What a waste of money this gen was.. Sony talked the most sh!t this gen and barely had anything great to show for. MS had a lot of great exclusive sequels this gen but they were the same games that we are so used to. So neither did anything. I just cant believe Sony is already coming out with another console and all their games keep getting pushed back.. They have become the worst out of all 3 with timing and delays
@pnova: Look I am not trying to sound discouraging or anything but just because Sony puts patent on a game doesnt mean the game is going to be awesome. Sony's got some great games but they definitely are not all that great. This gen IMO has been the worst for exclusives and thats including Xbox One also. Not one Sony game is a must have, I definitely don't agree with Uncharted 4's reviews as I am at Chapter 15 and the reason I can't beat the game is because I'm bored of it. It may be the prettiest Uncharted but it is the least fun. Bloodborne was a good game. Thats it on the Sony side with exclusives. Same goes for Xb1, it too had a few good exclusives but neither camp brought anything close to The Witcher 3 which is my gen favorite. This of course is my opinion.
@Xristophoros: Probably so and maybe to include VR but I doubt The Last Guardian will show its face this year. If I decide to jump to the NEO, I am going to have to have concrete release dates and a decent library of games. I got both Xb1 and PS4 on launch day but literally this has been a terrible gen for Sonys games. Honestly I have had more fun with the PS4s indie games than the AAA games.. I hope Neo is awesome, but Im definitely not getting it at launch or maybe even the first year
Sony does this with every exclusive. Last year at E3 I knew that 90% of the games wouldn't see 2016. Every game has been delayed. Literally. Uncharted 4 got delayed a couple times, No Mans Sky now this and I'm sure there is more that I just forgot about. Last years e3 was a joke and all it was made for was to suck in more sheep. I own a ps4 and every prior console but considering Sonys lead in sales this has been the worst gen for Sony in the games department..
@JEF8484: lol over hyped... Whats he talking about?? I dont understand what games are good for some people anymore.. Everything is over hyped. Every major title is over hyped. At least Witcher 3 has longevity, some linear games are one play through, 12 hrs and you done.... That's over hyped
@InYourMouf: i have it on both too. No neither console version looks bad but there a very noticeable difference between pc and console. I am a console gamer for 30yrs but ever since getting my gaming rig 6 months ago, all major titles go pc, hands down. Not to say the console are bad. Uncharted 4 on ps4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xb1 look amazing!
i think this was a perfect description. No favoritism and mostly positive. I dont believe the comparison to pc as these compressed video players tend to suck. Ive owned witcher 3 on both console and pc and there is a night and day difference, especially when playing in 60fps. While i love my consoles, neither could ever play this game 1080p/60fps
@berserker66666: "slightly" is incredibly wrong. Look I own every platform, I could never go back to a console version of this game. Plus you get 60fps which is night and day to the xb1 and ps4 25-30fps. It's a shit ton better on PC.
