a friend of mine brought over oblivion and i played it for maybe 3 hrs and hated it. does it get progressively better or what? cuz i found it extremely boring escaping the dungeon and stuff

hey everyone,

i've been playing a lot of shooter lately (GoW, H3, CoD4, etc) and im getting really sick of them. i have madden 08 which holds me over for some time when i need a break, but i rly want an entirely new game to play.. i'm just getting bored of playing the ones i have now.

before u make any suggestions, i should tell u a good storyline isnt important to me at all rly.. thats why a game like mass effect- with all the dialogue- would make me shut it off rly very quickly.. i cant sit thru all of that (im playing a game, not watching a movie).

yet, i sorta want a good RPG to play if there are any or if there are any coming out in the near future. i hate anime crap tho, so no eternal sonata and to me, the most boring thing of all time in gaming is turn-based combat so no lost odyssey. i haven't played games like dead rising and many of the earlier games for the 360.

with that in mind, what game do you recommend? or what game did u rly enjoy playing?

I know the last game was good (even though I've never played it) and I'm sure this will live up to the hype.

I already have (and love) CoD4, Halo 3, GoW, and a couple more shooters.

Will this game be the same type of game.. ie. run, shoot, hide occasionally, die, respawn, etc etc.

is it worth it to put down 60 bucks for yet another shooter?

i've never owned any guitar hero game and have never played rock band. i definitely wanna pick one up soon though. i'd buy the game pretty much for my own use; i wouldn't have friends come over or use rock band as a party game. with that said, do you think GH3 or Rock Band is better suited for me and why? thanks

anyone interested in beating the game on legendary and collecting all the skulls? i've only beat it on heroic but i wanna beat it on legendary with 4 player co-op and then get the armor for MP from getting all the skulls. i only have about 5 skulls now.

just post if your interested. itd be best to play tomorrow (monday) anytime after noon. just let me know.

ok so i just bought a ps3 and i plugged it in to the outlet in the wall, turned it on, and the ps3 caught fire and now is completely destroyed.. ill post pics later. but WTF. oh, plus drakes fortune was in it and is also destroyed. didnt get to play anything on the ps3.

btw, my 360 was plugged in to the same outlet before and has always worked fine. WTFFFF!
