I don't understand people getting all worried about this 'ruining' metal gear. It's part of the metal gear universe but it's clearly something different, gameplay wise. So relax people. Enjoy the fact that it's something different.
what i don't understand is that it seems like gamers are caring less and less about graphics. Yes, gameplay is king but graphics are fundamental to videogames (which are a visual format). Tell me you wouldn't want to see zelda on a graphical level of 720 ..c'mon sounds like people are justifying what we are given
I am a long time Zelda fan. I was really excited to try out the motion controls with this since I've heard its the best use of motion yet. So far I'm impressed with the motion although I don't think motion in general is all its cracked up to be. I'm two and a half hours into the game. Here are my thoughts: first of all I'm disappointed with how long they took to set up the game and story. There is a lot of unnecessary conversations, the guide is a weird jananese woman who doesn't fit into the zelda universe, I havn't gotten to the first dungeon yet, and I'm doing a pointless fetch-quest. I'm sure the game will turn out to be great once I actually get into some dungeon action and boss battles. Also, the graphics are really washed out. I mean, wind waker even looked a lot sharper than this and that was 5 years ago at least. *Addendum : After sticking with the game and playing through the sky temple I remember what is so special about the Zelda series. I'm loving the game and the game design and use of motion controls is probably the most creativity i've seen in a game since metal gear solid. While it's still the same basic Zelda forumala it's one of the greatest in the world of videogames. They still didn't need all that wasted time in the beginning of the game but now its a joy to play.
I dont think the consumers should be punished by the publishers by having to pay extra to get the online modes if we're going to buy the game used. I think the problem is that the consumers are lazy and we allow Gamestop to rip us off by selling our games so cheaply to them. If more consumers put a little effort into buying used games off of ebay or craigslist we'd be getting better deals and gamestop would be forced to raise their price on what they pay for our used games.
arrgg ..such a tease w/this beta vid ...so it WAS MICROSOFT that wanted to hold back the release! bastards ..there really is no reason why we shouldn't be playing this game now microsoft said "we're a business and we're gonna maximize profit at the expense of our own loyal consumers, because we can" bulletstorm was really good though
