Give her something that shows her you've noticed her. It's a weird concept but... think of the first day you met or at least encountered her. Maybe she had an orange sweater on, so give her an orange scarf (it's winter afterall) and in the card write something to the effect of, "You caught my attention when I first saw you in orange, so now you can always catch my attention when you wear this." That way you can relate anything you buy to a first memory/impression which shows you have been thinking about her and that the first time you saw her was important.

Scarf, hair-clip... accessories are usually pretty cheap and as long as you have a semi-romantic explanation in the card then it's in the bag. Just don't try to explain the gift when you give it to her-- it should all be in the card. Probably giving it to her when you're leaving is also good because you can put your phonenumber on the back of the card and if she's impressed, she could call you up ;)

A santa doll huh... that's a little strange to me. And also, I don't know about you, but I'd feel really uncomfortable taking a super expensive gift from someone I wasn't even in a relationship with, or wasn't part of my family. I'd feel like, really compelled to be with them, like I owed it to them.

Whoa, Super Mario Galaxy surpassed Zelda OoT. I hope it stays like that. What's annoying me, though, is that Half-Life 2 is represented three times in the Top Ten. That just doesn't seem right, especially since The Orange Box is taking two places simply because it's on two different platforms. Hexagon_777

I never appreciated the fact that GR counts different platforms as different slots. Just expand your list to include top 20 and subtract out one orange box. I think you should leave half-life 2 stand alone though.
