@inebriantia: yes and no....lots of people wont jump ship but lots will look in to what PC can do.....i have built on the side for the last 15 year and never have i built so many gaming PC's as i have in the last 3 years(i build for everything from 10k editing monsters to little old ladies just wanting to skyp and email).......with the cost of online if you game on a console for 5 years it will cost you more then gaming on PC in a lot of cases if your not trying to make up for your penis with a 3 grand PC......day one Xbone cost 500 bucks....add the 300 for 5 years of live and that true cost of playing that system is 800 dollars........with a AMD 480 coming close to the 6tf the new Scorpio will have for only 200 bucks it would be easy to built a great PC around this card for that 800 bucks some people spent on playing on a ONE.....then add in the fact they are going to drop new 500 to 600 dollar consoles every 3 years like apple dropping a phone every year its easy to see why a lot of people would go to PC.....its going to cost less if you start thinking about gaming in 5 year chunks........

@jomac3db1: but you do care because it will effect you as a gamer.....we are the reason you have online gaming at all.....we are the reason you have DLC is any shape or form....we are the reason you keep getting better hardware with every new gen.......we are the very reason you are able to game at the level you are now......nothing will change that......do you really think you would be able to play 64 people to a server if it was left to what consoles could do alone???....no matter what the 2 go hand in hand.....and to be blunt without console gamers PC would be worse then it is.....so it really goes both ways
