@dxBIGBOSSxb: on a side note i would still love to see a game done on stuff like the US pilots flying for canada and the UK plus the tank crews of africa in the first part of WW2......i like the fact they are trying to keep it to history.....would be nice to know if they followed one real guy's time line in each chapter like some of the old COD games did when they were good.....
@Thanatos2k: the sad is fact sony will never do that well again if the market keep shitting out new hardware ever 3 years.....and did any one miss the fact it took the PS3 and 360 sales to get to a number just a little higher then PS2 over all sales????
@Xristophoros: with OUT about being a fanboy about it......i was thinking along the lines PS2 was the best selling right around 154 to 157 million(wiki is not always right and this is the scope of what has been printed) and i dont think sony will ever sell 200 million consoles with the way things are going........its crazy to think a console would do that well and its even crazier to think it would do that well with all the back lash it got at the start......plus the fact the gen after PS2 in the PS3 and 360 did not sell that well put together!!!.....360 is at 83 to 85 million sold and PS3 did 83 to 84 million.....put together they at best 169 million and even this number barely beat the PS2 over all sales as a single console ........to say they would sell 200 million is just CRAZY as it would have out sold PS2 with a gap of the SNES total sales numbers and even out do 2 of the greatest consoles together.......the last line about PS4 selling 60 million is the fact IF the PS pro sell well they could stop making the OG PS4 hardware even in a slim version......i was just hit with a crazy number and though about the best selling.....i should have said more then what i did.....
@Thanatos2k: there is a problem aiming that high with a junk console like that but truth be told i thought both were junk......i had spent to much time on PC when they had came out to think ether looked good and were great consoles....plus having a left over pile of used parts that only cost 300 bucks gaming on PC was a lot cheaper....i got both for 200 each used after about year of being out for games but im validated in that thinking when even the makers came out with better hardware mid cycle.......oh well i only wasted 400 bucks
@joshrmeyer: if you want to find out how much you are using look at your router.....most routers can log the amount of data used and a ton of models made in the last 5 years have data cap limiters on them.....you set the number and the router cuts off all internet when it hits it to keep you from going over....lots even have have password protection to lock it as well......older routers have counters and can send emails telling you your amount like my old netgear N router......so in other words look at your router you maybe able to count your real world use and to the people that have data caps you can set your self up to not go over them.......
@yukushi: dont care about 3rd world countries....do you have any clue of how many people are still on dial up right here in the US??? do you have any clue of how many people only have DLS options over dial up???.....until you have this clue you are clueless.....my uncle is one of them.....he is about 6 miles out side of bufflo NY and cant get anything but DSL.......we even have people close to major cities that cant get cable modem speeds of internet and you think every one will have it in 5 years like cable internet networks have not been around since 1998!!!! (i was part of time warners test bed for road running 1998 and was part of vizons Fios test bed in 2004).......its been 8 years since i had fiber connections and living only 30 miles away from where i was part of the test bed now i dont have Fios as a option to me......the city im in now has a higher number of people as well......
3rd world countries will have it faster as they have no one making money off systems already in place and wont have the political BS to go through just to get new line put on a pole....plus lots of 3rd world countries are jumping right in to cell phone networks as its less systems to build VS wired home phones and are setting up a lot of the internet over the 3g and 4g networks.........people in Europe will have it faster as a ton of countries are tiny and wiring the whole country wont take the amount of effort it would to wire a major metropolitan area like say LA, NY, tampa bay area, or dallas /fort worth area.........5 years real world to even get 3 quarters of the US on cable modem speeds would be a stretch
@suicidesn0wman: maybe for a junk memorex player or something but good players were still very high on price at the time......i remember my cousin taking back a 800 dollar sony player 30 days after getting it because PS3 hit for 300 bucks less then what he paid.......i remember it because i could not believe at 800 bucks it was not a ES model from sony and the sound guy at work got a pioneer elite for like 850 or 900 bucks almost at the same time....he never took his back and still has it
