wow.....that is cheap when looking at the value of their money......

@sladakrobot: and those were the ones that had laser problems along with a lot of the 9000 series that came later.....im not saying sony did not have a problem with the CD eyes as they did.....im saying true first gen PS1 were changed to make them cheaper and the real first gens were tanks that audio people feel in love with.......and as always Europe when it comes to gaming got screwed on first gen PS1's and i cant believe they are charging the same price for a lot of consoles right now like a US dollar stacks up to a Euro or UK pound the same......

@suicidesn0wman: yeah i dont remember it that way....were i live PS3 was 500 bucks when it came out......most bluray players at that time frame were 600 bucks plus and the local best buy for almost a year only had 3 models under a 1000........i also know 2 people in their 60's that got PS3's for bluray and netflix.....they have never put a game in the system and both of them are fat 20gb models......

@joshrmeyer: the data caps are what is killing streaming options for a lot of people......ISP's around me are mostly cable companies.....they dont have data caps on internet service as long as you have a cable package of some type and its does not matter if its even basic over the air channels.....have no cable of any form and its capped at 200gb a month....

@sladakrobot: those were not true first gens......true first gens were TANKS and made in limited numbers......Model No. SCPH-1001 was not made very long and had sound out put going toe to toe with 4000 dollar CD players.....odds are you did not have a true first gen.......you search that model number on EBAY and most of the units listed still work.....

@skipper847: im so happy i found free never used media remotes for my PC's......i can turn them off as the remote has power button......i got the consoles for gaming not media players.....

@Xristophoros: truthfully i dont see sony hitting a 150 million units with the pro and OG PS4......

@joshrmeyer: streaming is not the standard and wont be for many years....as the cost of streaming for a lot of people is still to high with data caps and the fact lots of places in this country dont have the bandwidth to do 4k streaming.....5 years from now that could change but right now its not the norm........

sony will never sell 200 million consoles......the first gen PS4 my never sell more then 60 million if people start buy the pro more.......
