@Raidendude153: and that is what sucks....so many of the great WW2 games done on Xbox and PS2 were you going through the time line of a real person in single player.....there has to be a ton of great people that ran the trenches of WW1 they could do something with the real history again.......that is what i miss about the first COD games.....i dont care if its a linear game play...

i wish they would do a time trial or demo with say 3 or 4 maps to let us as gamers get a better clue then what beta let us play......it would do a lot for the game if it was good as the hype would build from real people playing more then 2 maps and people could find out if its worth getting on a better scale.....do 2 weeks and on the second week change maps or something.........it would also let them really work out more kinks and bugs.....thought i must say this beta was one of the better ones on how well everything ran even if the min specs were BS to sell hardware.......a game like this should have at least 12 maps day one.....showing 4 of them would not hurt sale unless the game sucks....oh i dont know this is just my thinking......i maybe a nazi to some people for wanting more of a demo then what was in beta

@Xristophoros: im not talking about just the CD drive....the add on drive for the NES had a new CPU and GPU and was really a whole console in itself but used parts of the SNES for some functions.....im not saying their was no dirty business on nintendos part as every one does know about the press release and stuff going on with philips.....im saying sony took what they had made with nintendo and turned in to the PS1......

@ECH71: i dont think this group is good.....they screwed up blizzard before selling them off to activision.....UBI sucks on a lot of levels but it should not go out like this.....they can do better....on top of it it my be some of these investors making them go in bad directions in the first place so getting some control back could help....they made good games a decade ago......

UBI already sucks on its own but this would make them even worse.....this is the group that screwed blizzard up and then sold them to activision.......

what sad is this never truly shows how many gen of the console their were hardware wise....PS2 had something like 12 version of internal hardware variations......i never forget opening up 9 consoles at one time finding out the power supply and cases were the only things that was the same in all of the fat PS2.....the power supply could be on the bottom or top and the pins always pass through the same point on the PCB board of the power supply.....some had pain in the A$$ thin strips running the the power and eject buttons but others had real wires for some reason.......

@fallingstickman: yeah with half the tech nintendo had built for the system...can you really act like they could have come up with all of PS1 hardware in less then 2 years with the failed work the SNES CD drive happening in 1993 and the PS1 hitting japan in 1994???

@d9000: your first console will always hold a place above the rest of them no matter how good it really was.....for me it was a NES and then a game boy......and all 3 will go done as 3 of the best consoles in history with 2 of them truly starting a lot of things on a lot of levels.....

@jr_hal: sony does not take the cake.....out of the 15 best selling consoles in all of history nintendo has 8 places out of 15(that is all consoles including hand helds) .......total number of all consoles from makers would have nintendo in with almost double the sales of over all consoles including handhelds (nintendo was 750 million sony was right at 400 million).....no matter what your pony is showing.....i have enjoyed my time on sonys consoles??? yes but it wont change the fact that most of the world still loves nintendo more and its shown in the total number of sales......im not a fan boy and will play games on anything......

@Xristophoros: sony stole everything nintendo did with PS1 as it was truly the CD add on drive for the SNES.......sony like apple has done well with what has been stolen but it wont change the way it all started......
