@firedrakes: im telling him what i did.....green drives work fine for this type of use but if i had not gotten so cheap i would have a 7200rpm drive from the blue series........i have a 500gb green drive that is 8 years old i trash as a torrent drive in a home server.....24/7 running for the last 6 years......if it can take that he should fine for 4 or 5 years if he gets on just playing games.......i would not get the green just because of the speed......but i got mine because of price and space
@CallMeDuraSouka: i got a 3tb western digital green drive for 60 bucks new never used off craigslist......then i put it all together with a nyko data bank......i also got that used and some places charge 60 to 70 bucks for it.....i got it for 35.......
you can use drives over 2tb but they need the data bank as no laptop drives are over 2......search you tube.....and your going to have to reinstall the OS from a USB drive but its easy.......the data bank uses power and seems to keep the drive running so going with a 2tb laptop drive would be the easy route......
@ltjohnnyrico: like many others your still missing the point.....in 2005 we got 18 great maps for the 60 bucks we spent.....today we get 9 ok maps that really only have 3 or 4 worth playing.....you even admit you only play 3 or 4 maps in most games......out of the 18 in battle front i can say i did not like 3 or 4 maps.....not i only played 3 or 4 maps.....i dont know how else i can put it to you to get you to understand......you really just told me is so many words "im ok with paying top dollar to get 3 or 4 maps to play".......that is really what you said.....and its something i will never say....
