It's coming in March in 32" and 37" LCD monitors and it's supposed to show 1080p with a 6ms response time which is good, but I feel shoulda been better for a "gamers panel"

Either way it should be a great Hi Def tv and I can't wait for it, if you guys havn't heard of it here's a link

This one looks nice as well and cheap too.

mushi799
it's not 1080p

its not even the tv cracker was talking about. seriously this thread just got into mass confusing, plus the topic creator posted a link of a projector not a flat panel lcd

Yeah I guess I'll have to look for the RGB component setup.  Hopefully there is one that can hook up all my systems because I only have one component input on my tv and thats for my 360.

But as far as which movies, just to name a few. X-men the last stand widescreen collectors edition and Blade Trinity widescreen.  These have black bars top/bottom.

I get the exact same thing the width is okay the the height is screwed up that the ps2's fault, when its set to 16:9 or reg, use a dvd player set it to widescreen and you'll be okay

PS2, xbox, gamecube.  When they are set to output at 16:9 format/ widescreen they look blurry when the aspect ratio of my tv is set to full screen.  It only looks crisp in 4:3

Panasonic 32" LCD HD

Any advice?

korpdawg
\ i think you need these then http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10009315&catid=10940

[QUOTE="ScreamDream"]I think that's your TV stretching the screen to make it wide. What happens if you try a game that can support 16:9. Does it look OK then. korpdawg

Final fantasy 12, under options its set to widescreen 16:9.

PS2 system config at startup set to 16:9

The TV is set to full but it looks blurry. At 4:3 it looks crisp and I"m not losing anything on the sides or top/bottom.

how is it connected to the tv, are you useing component(5 connector cord ) or the regular av, (white, red, yellow)?

are there any video players that your pc would recognize as external memory instead of downloading music software?

i know there are DVI-hdmi , but do they have D-sub 15 pin - hdmi? my owners manual of my tv said that hdmi was a addon(I can swap these boxes at the back of my tv for other inputs) but the tv i bought last week was discontinued since november and the customer service # don't work

and for the back ground I got the tv from future shop , but don't have a link right now just search up digimate 32", or DGL3201

1080i max via component. You'll need to use HDMI for 1080p, but seeing as Microsoft never bothered with HDMI for the games side of the system only HD DVD you'll have to make do with 1080i...
hypnotoad8128
i hate what they are doing dammit they know component can do 1080p so why are they discontinueing component
