So does displaying the resolution on a larger tv mean the picture wont look as good?
The only problem with guild wars is the fact that its soo time consuming, i think they should make most of the titles easier in guild wars 2 because in the first one a lot of them were ridiculous, like the gladiator title for instance. I hope they raise the level cap as well, 20 was too easy to reach and therefore not as satisfying when you got to it. Graphics look amazing for a mmorpg, and so does the combat :P
[QUOTE="sn4k3_64"][QUOTE="hartsickdiscipl"]Atm i have traction control off, along with stability control, and the rest on. I guess i could try with them all on, but dont get me wrong i like a challenge, although having to restart a lot is very annoying xD. Still the drifting on the game is EPIC, its so much fun man :P Grid is an amazing game. In my experience leave traction control on and you can turn off everything else. Turning it off really makes cars undrivable. With traction control on and everything else off i use highest difficulty and most of the times i manage 1st. With TC off i can barely finish the race Yeah i've been struggling with it off too, im not bad at driving games but this one really does pi** me off lol, i might have to turn it off then lolKeep playing. Also mess with the driver aids to see what works best for you. Once I got the hang of it. I loved that game more than any other driving game in recent memory. It feels like real driving to me. People tout the Gran Turismo series all the time, but I've driven quite a few fast cars, and that's not how they feel to me.

it looks awesome, and could be teh destroyer of al other mmorpgs!
Yes i know about the rewind option, i use it sometimes but the thing is its basically cheating xD. Btw does extreme difficulty make the AI more difficult than on savage difficulty or is just that you only get 1 rewind? Thanks for the response guysKeep practicing you will get better at it.
And remember that you can rewind time by pressing F1 button instead of just restarting, its one of the best innovations ever introduced to the genre.

Are you driving aggresively? By that I mean taking the inside line that would have removed from motorsport in real life? I just go a little bit faster into corners and use the cars to bounce back off, once you get in front you should be golden.nutcrackrYes! i drive very aggressively because its just my style, i like to push right through at the beginning of a race to give me more of a chance of getting in a higher position early, but i'll try hanging back some more :P
Well if you live in a hotter country they are going to be important because the ambient temp can make a lot of difference to the cards temperature.I don't know why these aftermarket cooling solutions are necessary for the GTX 460 anyways. They are pretty damn cool-running cards with the reference cooler, even overclocked. I guess if you massively upped the voltage it might be good.

Sorry just to interject, but theres plenty of mods on gamespot. Its not so much 'stepping on my toes'. Im not angry at the fact that you didn't upload a photo, but more that you didn't read the rules or just chose to ignore them... Infact Im not angry at all...
Aparently there have been similar threads in the past which have been locked because of what some consider spam of posts that ask for a rating and yet don't have a picture.
A picture is kinda useful for three reasons. It lets us see whether this rig actually exists, not such a problem for you because your not claiming you have something ridiculous like 3 Ares 5970s or something.
It also allows us to take a look at the rest of your setup and finally your cable management. - Some rigs have scored what I would consider an extra point or two just for beutiful cable management.
Im sorry if I came across as scoulding but I'm just trying to make sure people don't abuse the thread (usually because they forget to take a look at the rules....)

Funny, that's exactly the card I'm looking at. :)[QUOTE="markie1973"]I have just purchased Gigabytes Super Overclocked GTX460 (1GB) and its fast,VERY FAST to the point where it even beats the GTX465,I am using the GTX460 on max settings on a Samsung 22 inch widescreen without any slowdown!. Gigabytes card is allready factory overclocked and comes complete with thier own uptake of the excellent afterburner software, the card needs 2 6pin PCI express power connectors so if you do decide to buy one then make sure your PSU is compatible. Go for this card, its a serious piece of hardware - the 1GB GTX460 is 256bit memory interface running at GDDR5.jimmyjammer69
It's the near silent twin coolers that are the big draw for me. Have you tried OCing it further yet?
DONT go with the super over clock edition, buy the normal oc version, then overclock it yourself, that way you'll save money and your almost guaranteed to reach the same clock speeds as the super oc edition anyway ;)
