I would say the original Counter-Strike is the best video game I've ever played in all my 25 years as a PC gamer. CS:Source is a decent graphical update that ruins the competitive nature of the game. CS:GO is a complete waste of time and money.SKaREO

I have to say I am dissapointed, I know some people will love it but I just dont think its on the same level as the first guild wars pvp system

Having played the first guild wars, I absolutely loved the pvp, thought it was excellent and required a lot of skill and thought in terms of the build and weapons, armour etc. Im not sure what to make of guild wars 2 pvp, I enjoy it sometimes other times i find it frustrating and it seems like there is a lot of button mashing?? Maybe im mistaken as i've only played the warrior class so far, world vs world I gave a try but for me it was a laggy mess so i've stuck to normal pvp, what are your thoughts on it?

76 hours in and I can tell you having played all the cs series its a great game. Graphics are nice, it runs very smoothly and like the previous poster has said it still retains the original gameplay of counter strike. Put simply its my favourite fps bar 1.6, definitely worth it but you will get owned at first, takes time to get better thats the challenge its not call of duty

Well im a bit disappointed really, was looking forward to playing it today but thats not gonna happen, anyway they are supposed to be tweaking performance issues right now, so at least it will be released in a better state

Thanks for the responses guys, was good to read feedback on it, cant wait to try out the beta on the 14th, just feel like I've over played source, so it will be interesting to see how this one plays. The only thing im not too sure about is the graphics, there not bad but i feel they could be slightly better?

As an avid counter strike fan i've played them all, my favourite being 1.6, although I then moved on to source. I decided to pre-order CS:GO so i could get into the beta, im not too sure what to think of it so far, what are your thoughts and are you going to buy it?
