Well put it this way, even if someone gave me a copy of it, i wouldnt bother installing it lolI don't think it the best ever or anything, but I enjoyed the combat quite a bit actually. I like how there are timed attacks rather than just click, click, click like in oblivion or similar games. I think the praise has come from the combat and the fluidity of Geraldt while in combat.
Obviously the graphics aren't great, its an old engine, but you can overlook that right? ;)

Praised mostly for its story and options, because PC gamers have somehow done a 180 and decided that great gameplay takes backseat to story and optional dialogue choices.Birdy09haha, well tbh if i bought that game i would be pi**ed off, there just nothing that looks interesting about it, but it does make me laugh so i guess thats a plus point..
My cousin spent £20 on the witcher enhanced edition and so far all we could do was laugh at how bad it was. I dont get why people recommend this game, imo it looks terrible, the combat for example doesnt look any fun at all and even on his decent laptop it runs awful (really choppy sometimes). Im wondering whether you have to get into this game or im missing out on something?
windows will sometimes do that for you, must be windows 7 right?[QUOTE="TerrorRizzing"][QUOTE="Buttons1990"]
I don't understand how the other cpu cores aren't being used? I have a Q9550 and on my CPU monitor, all 4 cores are used at ~85ish percent when playing Oblivion... If the game isn't using 3 of the 4, then what are they doing? I have no background task running, especially anything that would use 85% of 3 cores on a 3.5GHz Q9550...?

Dual boot XP and 7 and it is the same on either, with XP using slightly less...
And I don't understand where you are coming from with this? My CPU cores idle at 10% on core 1 and less than 1% on each of the others when nothing is running? Are you telling me that Windows just randomly waste resources when playing a game?
?
how can ur core just idle at 10%? If its at 10% then something must be running in the background causing that ?_?Thanks guys, im guessing the weapons and armour probably will affect fps too looking at how detailed they are :O. I'll take a look for the tweak, it might help me a bit especially if its just using 1 core :/.
One last thing, is there any way i can enable it to use all my processor cores? Im sure that would boost my fps greatly :P
Ok thanks, maybe i need to upgrade my gpu soon, its getting a bit old now. The mods for it look amazing though, been looking at the weapons and armour never seen anything like it..
