nVIDIA drivers should install on top of each other without much issue but yeah.. if they are damaged then you should remove them completely and reinstall.
Start by uninstalling them normally and then reboot into safe mode to run driver sweeper. Then reboot normally and install them again. Optionally run CCleaner registry cleaner after the initial uninstallation.

Ok thanks very much! I think its just an issue conflicting with dirt 2, but its worth doing it to stop it freezing so much!
Hey all, well earlier when i was playing dirt 2 the game kept locking up and crashing, and when googling it, it seems that it is because i didnt completely remove my drivers when installing the latest version. So basically each time i remove my drivers shud i boot into safe mode and run driver sweeper? Cheers, Sean
Hmm well i think im the opposite because i prefer baja and rally cross because at least then i know if im keeping up with the other cars, and i can ram them out the way lol. I dont know, the rallying just seems too difficult for me, like you need to know the course inside out, maybe its because im drifting too much around the corners or something which is losing me time
Is is just me or do you guys struggle with the rallying? I struggle just getting on the podium, and its pi**ing me off cos im pretty decent at like rallycross and baja etc, was just wondering what you guys think
The way they changed the shooting mechanic from 1.6 feels weird and I seriously hate the fact that I can pump an entire M4 clip into a terroist yet he shoots me in the body once and kills me. Dying in Team Fortress 2 atleast feels like "hey I ****ed up big-time" rather than "WHAT THE **** HIT DETECTION?"
