Well i was trying to get ram that wasnt unbuffered because I was told that unbuffered is slower so I went for a more expensive ballistix but that isnt unbuffered either.I might get the cheap ram but it does seem a little too cheap..its like £13 for a gig o.0

Hi all, I am getting an annoying problem that persists every time i play counter strike 1.6. When I first connect to a server it is all fine for about 15 seconds then the game freezes and on the top right hand corner it says "Connection Problem". I have to disconnect from the server then reconnect to the same one for the problem to go.

This happens on EVERY server so its starting to annoy me. My connection is wireless and its quite speedy, i've never had connection issues, my computer can play counter strike 1.6 fine and when i played it last year I never experienced an issue like this.

I have re-installed it and still get the same problem, can some one please help me.

Yeah definitely disconnect your internet A.S.A.P because this program could be downloading more rubbish to your computer and once disconnected the hacker will not be able to control your computer anymore as his path to it is blocked. Then completely scan your computer and hopefully it will be detected. If your security detects it try removing it but first I would research it to see how difficult it is to remove. If its very difficult I would either do System restore back to a safe date or maybe download a program called hijackthis and send the report to someone professional through a forum or something that somebody can review and advise you safely on.

Wiping your drive should be the last resort but as i said always disconnect your internet and the easiet most effective option I could imagine would be a restore.

Guys I was talking to this person on Guild Wars who i think knows a lot about computers. He advised me that even if I get say mid range graphics card I should contemplate getting some better cooling just to be on the safe side. I have found this arctic 7 cooler on the internet-its a cpu cooler and apparently is easy to install because the thermal paste is already applied and it basically slots on. I want to install it but my computer is a dell so could there be compatibility issues or will i be ok? Also it says its compatible with pentium 4-775? What does the 775 mean?

Oh ok :S I think i might just forgot about that card then and just stick in a 8600 GT because that should be fine with just stock cooling.

Also, I dont know if this helps but most of the time my room is pretty cool, as I live in england its not going to get that warm.

Hmm, sorry to be a noob about this all but how could I upgrade cooling, what ways could the cooling be fitted in? I am new to upgrading computers, so I like to ask questions :p

nightfall-reason, because you get 2 more professions (dervish and Paragon). Dervish absolutely pwn in PvP with the right build. Although so far in the nightfall campaign i have found it to be quite repatative in the way that it sort of feels the sameish.

Eye of the north doesnt have extra professions, campaign wise im unsure-havent played the campaign so its difficult for me to advise you on this. The reason i bought nightfall over eotn is because im an avid PvP player and the extra professions especially dervish were a bonus to the game.

One last thing eotn expands on the the original guild wars prophecies so as far as i know its just extra content added to the prophecies campaign.
