Spanish isn't that of a big deal i as a Brit i see French and German more important to learn than Spanish but in all honesty English is the most important language to learn in the world I'm not being arrogant but its the international language of Business and near enough anything else i think its fair to say that where ever your from if you want to be a success in all most anything you have to learn English .

Yeah, that is a problem with Britan. The history is pretty interesting, but not as deep and proud as other countries. There is a little bit of Nationalism going on now also because some Brits feel Britan is not the way it used to be, and apparently thats someone elses fault. They also look at Britan's proud past, and wonder where that has gone.
