@ekolite Indeed. But the fact that Wii U is basically a Power PC and not x86 like other two I see their third party support getting even thinner than ever.

@Mantan911 @Sharkspawn80 Actually you will need pretty expensive rig to compete with consoles. Especially if you really want the smooth 60 fps in every game or more. Being more powerful on paper doesn't mean a **** in real world. PC versions of triple A is almost always poorly optimized. If you don't have the all power in the world, your experience will be worse than on consoles.

@asmoddeuss Ok, you got few things right, like that gamers aren't fanboys, I agree on that. I play on PC, I play on all past and current Playstation systems, because I like the exclusives. But I have to say when I see pisspoor port on PC I will gladly get that title to console instead. I'd like to get Wii U too, for the exclusives, but price is too much at the moment for what it is.

And Playstation+ is way more than a price of online gaming. It wasn't required in "last generation" and it's only required now, because publishers dropped online passes, to compensate used games lost revenue. You really can't buy used game to PC, don't you? I know you can't, because I know it's always one time use serial key, digital or boxed and that has been the case at least over then years now, fifteen maybe?

No offense, but you sound little bit PC elitist here. I can understand, I would prefer this platform too, fast loading times, mods, nicer graphics (resolution/fps/aa etc.), keyboard and mouse controls for games that really needs them (first/third person shooters), well controller that you prefer. But it's too bad I still cannot play Gran Turismo on PC or even NHL anymore! Look how EA pissed PC players face with NHL 08 and NHL 09, consoles had already the "next-gen" versions. And after that they dropped the support all together.

For me games matter, too bad PC is getting shitty end of deal in every turn.

@Godlikan Wrong, when they start to develop on PC first in my again and consoles get toned down ports like good old days, then it is the end. But yeah I know what you mean.

Finally someone got it right on media why Wii actually sold well. It was a console for non-gamers.

Nintendo's problem is that they somehow managed to sell Wii all non-gamer people like little kids and grandmas. The people who don't know what Wii U actually is or people who don't feel the need for upgrade.

I get always angry when I hear "Nintendo won last generation, they sold way more Wii units than PS3 or X360". Well yeah, my friends are basically gamers and NONE owns a Wii. It "won" just because Nintendo somehow managed to sell one for everybody who's not into gaming. FFS.
