I'm sorry if this has already been discussed, but I'm curious as to why there hasn't been much in the news about Arcade shooters for the wii. I recall when this console was first revealed, people were talking about the possibilities of a new Duck Hunt, Sega even mentioned the possibility of a Virtua Cop, and who can forget the awesome Point Blank series? Which for some reason has a DS release, but no talks of a Wii release!
I'd much rather have these games than many of the half-assed puzzle games that seem to flock to Nintendo systems these days.

Bring them both on!:)
Agreed. I have a few questions, I'm looking to get a Wii in the following months, and wanted to know a few things about the VC. 1. I'm on my schools wireless connection, it's not the best, but it's free so I can't really complain. But say I go to my friends' house, and want to access something from his internet connection, will there be any problems with this? 2. How do you pay for the VC? Do you buy points at a gaming store, online, or do you basically give Nintendo your financial information and meet somewhere in between? 1. no problem, you just have to edit your wireless settings 2. you can buy them in a store or on the wii shop channel Awesome, thanks for the reply.[QUOTE="-ZeRoHouR-"][QUOTE="Mac8457"]I'm still waiting for Punch Out!!!chisoxrule

This could mean we'll see a slow down in their games for a little while. Personally, I'm a huge Star Wars geek, and I think the Expanded Universe, meaning the books and comics, are an untapped resource with plenty of things in them that merit a game. Then again, I've found that Nintendo always seems to get the weakest Star Wars titles (I hate the Rogue Squadron series) However, an excellent first person shooter, is definately in order for the Wii. Actually, you know what would be awesome? A Remake of Dark Forces.pedro_magalhaes
I personally would have liked a remake of KOTOR I by switching from a semi-turn based game into a full fledged real-time action game. Now that would be sweet. Suffice to say, KOTOR is one of my favorite games not because it's an RPG but because it's story is so good.
Meh, remakes of games less than five years old always seems like a lame idea to me.[QUOTE="killjoy188"]I can't say I've played Lunar Knights, but I can say I've played Advance Wars straight through three times in a row after I got it...What does that tell you? :)Theguywithshirt
That tells me that you have one game... and not the other... ?
That tells you that while he doesn't have one game, he does truly appreciate the other, which obviously should be taken into some consideration. You're comparing two completely different games however.
There have been no announcements of a "DS 2" you more than likely heard it from a faulty source.
The DS is an excellent system, though I personally think it has a few snags here and there, over all, it's a great idea if you're in the market for a portable system. Though if you're not certain, save your self a couple bucks and go with a Gameboy, great games are still being made for it as well.
